  1. It won't come a quickly as the departure of the failed multi-million dollar project architect - Cameron George!
  2. Uh? Doesn't that contradict their statement about the relationship between foal crop and field size? If the foal crop is optimal why is it so difficult to fill fields? Handicapping is an issue but it can't be the sole reason. Also what about the % that is exported from this "optimal foal crop number"? Has that increased or decreased.
  3. Of course most of us on BOAY can remember the days when we had to take our horses to the trials to get form to gain a race start!
  4. LOL - really? It took some phone calls from frustrated trainers not to mention a Topic started on BOAY to get them to work it out! Remember the cancelled the Cambridge AWT trials and created the unscheduled Avondale trials only after being prompted. I'm surprised you have learnt so little after your long involvement in the game owning many horses. I guess you just attend for the social side of racing. A trial invariably involves a trip away and race day like leadups and conditions. That is it simulates a race day. It brings horses on more quickly than any jumpout at home. Many horses get bored with jumpouts. Many horses with upcoming spring campaigns are trialling now. Yep which just shows you what the average punter wants. They'd rather watch some trials of spring contenders than a race meeting on a bog track.
  5. Geez I hope it isn't the same one my mate is involved in!
  6. Cambridge Synthetic trials cancelled. 103 entries in 15 trials at Avondale instead. Congratulations NZTR for listening to trainers and not @TAB For Ever or Messara. Meanwhile everyone is watching the grass grow at Ellerslie.
  7. @TAB For Ever aka The Industry Shill - have you noticed the recommendations in the Mesara report aren't working. Let us know when the foal crop increases 20%. Any update on the $55m Ellerslie track upgrade?
  8. Watch the end of the race. 20240715MIAR05_V.mp4
  9. Obviously you're just a derelict judging by that post.
  10. Yawn. You are so out of touch with reality. Does NZTR write this stuff for you? Please publish the tote figures that you appear to have inside information on or are you just making it up? Of course no comment on the ill-conceived ITM Northern Winter Championship. As long as the administrators flog the sponsors everything is OK.
  11. The difference is @Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers doesn't seem to want post her reasons for closing the industry down.
  12. Sure protect your identity but don't go all sanctimonious when you have an avatar that clearly is insulting to all hard working trainers and clearly your sole aim is to get Greyhound Racing banned.
  13. FFS - it doesn't take a deep data dive or a rocket scientist to work it out when your other account was @SeeYouNextTuesday
  14. So? I didn't declare my opinion to be facts as you did nor falsely call misinformation facts!
  15. Just as there is no rule that says I can't ask you the questions I do. Your choice to refuse to answer valid questions however it would tend to reinforce the view that your agenda is to stop Greyhound Racing. Don't you see the irony that you post on BOAY under an avatar that clearly has one meaning.
  16. 5 of the races (after nominations reduced to 4) were sort of restricted entry. You had to have raced in eligible ITM series races and earn points to gain preferential entry. BUT there was a condition that any horse could enter the final. Judging by the nominations received for the 2yr old race Final initially I'm not sure all trainers knew about the latter condition. They made the 2yr old an Open which begs the question why have a Winter Series if you can just change the rules if you don't get any nominations. I think Northern Winter Championships concept is poorly constructed. The fields weren't that hot at Trentham either. The reality is it is possibly a sign of a dwindling horse population. Although Ruakaka provided a G4 surface and Trentham a bottomless Heavy 10! I think some trainers may have made a mistake with Ruakaka - especially if they prefer to go round at Pukekohe on Wednesday!
  17. Why didn't you ring direct? Clearly your posts are about your ego and relevance.
  18. So is this about your self promotion and need for relevance or about eliciting the changes that you want that you have us believing are genuine? @Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers only has one agenda and that is to put an end to Greyhound Racing. The irony is that she's supporting you as a way to do that.
  19. Tell me this @TAB For Ever why did the administrators shift two autumn/winter race dates off the Whangarei Racing Club at Ruakaka? Two very successful dates I might add which were well attended by locals. One day had 19 pub teams competing against each other in a punting competition. BTW they had to be oncourse to bet. I bet those same administrators are not decisive when Pukekohe has to be abandoned. Actually why don't they shift the Pukekohe meeting this Wednesday to Ruakaka rather than racing in a cut up bog?
  20. Did I hide it? I'm asking @Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers to actually post her stance about the Greyhound Racing industry and her reasons. Although her avatar name sums her up. BTW @Yankiwi if you have been honest then @Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers isn't on your side.
  21. @Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers
