You swung at Opie Bosson. Wrong again. You then had a go at Te Akau obviously without any inderstanding of how that operation works. Then in the face of clear statements and logical reasoning you banged on about The Everest. I would imagine you haven't put your wallet where your mouth is and off loaded on Imperatriz to win The Everest. I'm surprised you haven't given us all the reasons why she couldn't win it.

I believe @Freda is asking has Yes Yes Yes's potential stud value stayed in the stratosphere? I would suggest his future lies entirely with the success of his progeny. Winning The Everest may have enabled a marketing based premium on his stud fee.....to start with.

Vancouver has yet to produce a Group 1 winner and is slipping from fashion. I quoted Farnan because he is an example of a stallion the same age as Yes Yes Yes but who didn't win The Everest. Farnan's stud fee is over $20k more. So which is reaching stratospheric heights? As for Vancouver - suggest you back Overpass as the omen bet.

The trifecta would have cost you $24 to win $29.40. A profit of $5. You would have spent $24 boxing the four selections for a First 4 and lost $24. So you lose $19. Brilliant strategy.

Let's make it simple for you. Explain how you know before the race has concluded that the Quinella would pay $4? How did you calculate value I.e. how "good" the price was?

Piece of cake - always off the fence and out of trouble - stalked them. Went faster than her first run! Perfect draw. Made a difference. Opie knows her very well and got her to settle before the race. Also knew that she has a flat spot in a race and didn't panic. Outclassed them.

It comes with Grp 1 black type which adds permanently to her residual value. Black Type is how the industry measures the quality of the horses.

The Mark Walker-trained sprinter balanced up in the straight and stormed over the top of gallant runner-up Asfoora to win by a length. Imperatriz ran 56.47 sec, breaking her own 1000m track record. Jockey Opie Bosson, who is catching a plane home to New Zealand on Friday night to ride in Group 1 races at home on Saturday, said she gave him an "amazing feeling". "Credit to the team … she's a privilege to ride," Bosson said.
