  1. The problem with this debate is it becomes binary or tribal. Like most things at the moment. Rational well researched debate looking at the complete range of variables goes out the window. Where are the numbers, the revenue projections, the maintenance costs? Seems to be a punt in the dark to me. Plus decisions made by the same group that hasn't got one right in the last 20 years.
  2. Why has Racing Victoria said no more than two? Probably because those who pay the revenue dont like to punt on them. Oh and the higher maintenance costs.
  3. "Seeing" one doesn't add to one's expertise if you don't ask the right questions and have done the research. Which seems to be what our illustrious leaders didnt do.
  4. Changed what? Geez you can be obtuse!
  5. Is this not your view Mikie?
  6. That's all you do Mehe - you are obsessed about it!
  7. Whatever! In fact the topic is about the Harness CEO. From what I see it is also about what influence and control the CEO has over Harness Racing. The Whip Rule sub-topic is a way of exploring what that influence and control is.
  8. I wasn't referring to you I was referring to Mehe - who has a habit of coming on here just to have a go at Brodie.
  9. FFS - I may as well not post on my own forum! Quite frankly I have no opinion on either of you when it comes to making dicks of yourselves! As I said I was interested in the process. You both had views poles apart. I was interested to see what the facts were and what the process was. I posted those. Nothing more nothing less. MY OPINION is that the truth lies somewhere between both your views. So for the record it would appear that YOU BOTH disagree with ME! All well and good!
  10. LOL.
  11. Yeah na we make phonetic exceptions.
  12. I was interested in the Whip Rule creation process. The point of my input was to provide some substance to the debate - you know raise it above a personality fight about you said he said point scoring! But eh drag it back down again. Now you have woken up Mehe (he must have thought he was still in lock down) so you have some help now.
  13. LOL at least you give us all a laugh!
  14. FFS Mehe the only time you post is to have a dig at Brodie. You can't help yourself. Everyone can see that - except you of course.
  15. LOL I'm sure he can look after himself. Obviously not as worried about him as much as you are. Is this some kind of bromance?
  16. Pray enlighten us all with your erudite analysis!
  17. I haven't. I'm not defending him.
  18. Maybe that's the case however he is still entitled to express his opinion and defend it. His opinions deserve to be challenged but that doesn't mean he needs to be personally attacked. You seem to be obsessed Mehe with Brodie.

  20. So you consider this post to be "not negative"? Your first post in how long? And it's attacking Brodie? Not even a comment on the Topic? I doubt you have even read what I posted or if you have your blinkered view of Brodie doesn't let you see that I didn't actually agree with him!
  21. Rule Number(s): 638(3)(b)(ii)Following the running of Race 9, the Wenham Grain and Seed 1600, won by the horse YOSSARIAN, ridden by Ms Schofer, Mr Goodwin presented an Information that Ms Schofer had offended against Rule 638(3)(b)(ii) in that she was guilty of a breach because her whip use before the final 100 metres was excessive ... 22. Funny ha ha. Export of horses? Races? Messara did look at Race exports. With regard to horse exports I don’t see what the issue is.
  23. A bit of pot kettle there Mehe!
  24. If you already knew why didn't you explain it the way I did? Would have saved me 25 mins of research. The reality is that the truth lies somewhere between your view and Brodies. It is a bit simplistic to say "the HRNZ Board did it all" when in fact they didn't. I'd even go so far to say that they didn't even initiate the process.
