  2. They don't give a shyte. It is only a small minority that it is an issue with and they aren't necessarily Gen x, y or z. As for those that do protest - they want RACING of any animal to be BANNED - full stop. Ban whips and they won't stop there. Don't give them an inch I say.

  5. Ironic that the 63 yr old businessman has name suppression! I wonder if anyone who names him will get charged! "A well-known Auckland businessman charged with breaching a court suppression order for the man who murdered Grace Millane has been granted suppression himself. The 63-year-old man..." "When the Herald asked if the businessman wished to comment on the court proceedings he replied: "I've got no interest in talking about it. I've got no interest in talking to you, you clearly have no idea what's going on. So the answer is no, no, no, no."
  6. How many protesters were at Trentham? I haven't seen any howls of protest from anyone except the usual drum beating from Thomaas. No point in knifing ourselves in the back.

  8. There was no crowd visible on TV. Certainly not like 20 yrs ago when everywhere was packed including the infield.
  9. But where was the crowd?
  10. I tell you what I'm down at the local and the whole bar is riding with Kozzi. One old timer has likened him to Noel Harris.
  11. A friend of mine has had $20 to win FF on each of last 8 rides!
  12. First ride today - wins!

  15. I'm not wrong. He has 8 rides at Gore. There is no indication in your cut and paste how many rides he would have got at Trentham. Once again you are twisting the facts to fit your twisted views. Good on him for being loyal.
  16. You shouldn't really post after you have had a couple of gins Beau.
  17. As I've said before the Purdon family have dominated harness racing over many many decades. The institutional knowledge that the family has cannot be equalled. The difference is many of the other dominant families have not carried on their dynasties. The All Star dominance will not last forever. I don't see many young Purdon's running around.
  18. Brodie why does it matter? I read a history of the Waterlea racecourse. 100 years of meetings there today. Guess what all the Grandfathers of NZ harness raced there. Yep even Purdons.
  19. Good on them. They handled a difficult time admirably.
  20. I am of the same opinion. But SOMEONE will always find a way to diminish someone else's achievements.
  21. I don't have an opinion either way. They were still races that had stakes and to be fair some of those apprentices are pretty sharp and those that aren't tend to get in the way. So great riding.
  22. Don't worry if he keeps this form up he won't want for opportunities! If he chooses to chase the premiership you will see people get behind him. As for moving North - do apprentices still have obligations to those they are indentured to?
  23. Vote for your favourite KIWI horse here: https://allstarmile.com.au/ GO CATALYST!
  24. The horse had already bolted as it were. As for "control" and it going to my head I find that statement laughable. Given the heaps of criticism I have been given for allowing free and open debate more so than any other forum.
