    What I've found so far is that these clubs are all solvent and have low cost models of operation. They all have a decent amount of cash in the bank. You'd think if those at the coal face Owners, Trainers, Drivers didn't support these clubs then they'd be broke. ?

    I don't understand this rationale and it is being used by the Gallops administrators as well. If a Club and its team can keep their course going and Owners, Trainers and Drivers are willing to travel AND it doesn't cost HRNZ anything then argument is spurious at best.

    Hi I've started collating the last published financial accounts for each of the Trotting/Harness Racing Clubs. First ones to be posted are for those that have lost race dates. I'll add more as I get time. Plus maybe some analysis. Cheers

    I thought they had deals with pubs. Just like harness which owns a company that owns pubs with pokies. Also most of their Pokie revenue went to pay for the RIU operation. There are restrictions on what you can use the Pokie derived revenue for.

    For those of you who didn't get the humour. I noticed a large number of road cones suddenly appear around the neighbourhood the last two days. I assume they too came to a place near you.

    Hardly running out of ammo. More being produced by the same old same old crew. But if we had the half yearly report as has been the case for over 20 years we could have informed debate. Especially in this new era of transparency.

    Yep the very people that could have helped them trade out of this mess they have cut off.
