  7. Not unheard of a hard run at 3 may not come back until 5.
  8. I don't know but the partner says if I come home fast then it's all good!
  9. I got that joke but my partner can't work why I'm pissing myself laughing!
  10. Ask Neil Davis is being paid to produce them and Thomass.
  11. 1222WAIK-site.pdf
  12. $2.60 a place. I take it you didn't get any of it?
  13. Can't you courier them to her?
  14. Geez if you both keep up with the success and information I might have to make these threads Registered Members only. I have noticed an appreciable increase in "Guests" viewing.
  15. Mmm didn't anyone see Thomaas post his Rock On selection BEFORE the race? Well done to barryb and Mardigras for doing so.
  16. My apologies for replying to my own post but it might take Blueprint Tommy a wee while to comprehend. Please can someone explain how adding more high cost infrastructure with on going high maintenance and running costs is going to improve the quality of our race fields? It costs bugger all to run a place like Reefton with its passionate volunteers. In the new Palace at Cambridge there will be General Managers of Stabling, Food and Hospitality, HR, Beverages, Operations and so on and on... All the staff will be on minimum wage plus some. Reefton probably dunged out the stables and put it on his vege garden. Actually I remember dunging out out stables at the Reefton trots using the communal barrow and shovel and depositing in the central heap. Just realised I was helping a Molloy!
  17. Aren't all horses trained outside the Auckland region? Cars are cheaper in Auckland.
  18. Ok Thomaas - explain what are the causes of ALL our Group Races average ratings declining? The Manawatu Cup was no better than a benchmark R85!
  19. So you are contradicting yourself now?
  20. Once again Thomaas you don't have the intellect to understand the debate. Distorted tier stakes and a crap handicapping system (both the rules AND their application) are killing off the lifeblood of a quality racing product - The durable gelding. And you want to distort it more by having a North and South Island tier! Why don't we just get it all over and done with and centralise in the Waikato where the fat cats are gathered. Contrary to the rural myth the grass isn't actually greener or bluer in that province.
  21. Bollocks Thomaas. The cost of fuel and transport is more expensive than North. I don't think WINZ subsidises racing tack in the South. NZTR fees are the same. Vets aren't into charity in the South.
  22. You just need to place them better. An R83 horse just won a Grp3.
  23. As one niller loser to another - no I haven't received anything. Perhaps those legendary "suits" are hand delivering it. Cracks me up when another channel posts from BOAY immediately and then says WE are losers! Anyway I always take what the two little business partners say with a grain of salt. We both know they are often strangers to the truth!
  24. Tell me how does this work? You know that USA dross we get fed from first thing in the morning? Look at Laurel Park. The first 4 races were abandoned - now NZ betting. Lo and behold the first race after 8am (Race 5) is available to bet on and has FF field odds declared. For races that have win pools of not much more than $200! Excuse me but where is the efficiency there? What's the point? Wouldn't they be better focusing on the races that their market is truly interested in? What's more isn't it an unnecessary risk to run FF books on races that have extremely low liquidity? Or is it a rort?
