Ask JJ. He hears things.

Still unders?
-
So you are not free to say what the 'cloud' is on a website like this as it is not appropriate?
-
They rush in to break news when it suits but if it is their mate or not convenient they go silent. They talk about attracting people to the game but the shit that goes on largely uncontested in harness racing is a complete turn off.
-
Still waiting for you to say what you heard.
-
What is the news?
-
The horse was transformed once it went to Kerr's after showing little with the original trainer. Now it is back Would you back it on Friday night?
-
Wouldn't have opened at 35 either. If Blair was on it it would have opened at 6s.
-
Worthy of some form of public announcement, especially the sudden nature of it? I suppose 'personal' means private but just so odd considering the ability / strike rate of his team and he was on the up with so many good horses. He would have been one to have taken advantage of the All Stars situation but not to be obviously. Dalgety, now Kerr, maybe the game needs to do better supporting these trainers.
-
And with the plunge on the unseen for a year Court horse from 35 to 7 you can see why the TAB run scared and open everything at the tight prices they do. The TAB won't be letting Court first starters start at long odds ever again.
-
Must be disappointing for the club to not be able to run this race at the first attempt after Lochie Marshall's passing. Nominations have closed. Race 4 will not be run. Withdrawals close Tuesday at 10.00am

Has he done a 'dalgety'? The All Stars take a break from training and it is big news yet when Dalgety and Kerr disappear and go licensed there is nothing on any news avenue at all. It can only lead me to guess it is not a positive that is happened. All those big social media identities are deathly silent about it too. Will the Box Seat cover it? Not on your nelly. HRNZ? Never. Offnracing website still has him down a listed trainer on its website though he is no linger a trainer. Harness is a joke sometimes.

Dexter should be up for NZ Sportsperson of the Year, and win it. In this Covid year, how could he not be.

After watching Oamaru and Motukarara this weekend, I am glad they have gone back on their original decision to stop racing at Oamaru and the like as I enjoy the variety. If Addington ever becomes a dominant track again I don't think I will be able to cope.
-
What did you hear? Speechless lol
-
We know it doesn't take much but even so. Going by the comment your eyes would be popping watching the tote, especially since it is in a tidy maiden field with form. Gold coin? More like Fort Knox. Anybody like anything tomorrow?
-
Yet, as usual, you fail to recognise the praise Brodie has given the All Stars. Brodie has always seen the domination as detrimental which is a valid position to take but he balances that with his comments the other way so he is not as biased as you claim.

But on the plus side an unknown script will be written compared to the repetitive one we get each and every year at the moment which for some is boring and uninteresting.

Not called Bodhi for nothing.

Very poor field sizes at Auckland on Friday. The South only do this scheduling for a few weeks and has managed before. The test will be Oamaru nominations tomorrow. Sometimes they struggle to get enough runners for their driver series.

Really good decision by them to get off the treadmill and go do something different as they certainly deserve it. The succession plan seems to have been thought through with their involvement in buying youngsters and helping out on big days. That will boost confidence amongst the owners as harness can't afford to lose the calibre (or should I say pockets) of those owners. It would have been awhile coming and I think back to that lockdown interview by Mark and Natalie about the (lack of) leadership at HRNZ and the uncertainty about the stakes which makes it less attractive to slave your guts out. The Cup win was $150 000 less this year remember. I think they would have had a good look at what they were doing and been frustrated operating at such a high level when the industry itself was not. Natalie even thought racing was 'buggered' and had no hope for the future which I thought was telling. They may say they are coming back to racing but it will depend on if they find the desire again and my bet is, if they do come back, it won't be in NZ, it will be a small satellite stable for Hayden Cullen's horses in Australia. They have been on the treadmill in NZ and won't want to get back on in its current state. Look at Dexter. While some will rightly laud Mark and Natalie for what they have done and some will discuss the evening up of the game for other trainers with stakes being distributed elsewhere, I think it is a full frontal reminder to the industry to sort its shit out.

They don't have any in my opinion.
