  1. Blew that theory away, sat near last and drawn 13. The so called bias is from tempo rather than any other theory mate. hot pace in that race allowed back markers a chance, its rider related rather than track.

Not likely. I am not going anywhere T, cant stand the thought that you will be alone here.
  3. Woof Woof.
  4. I see he got a $1000 fine.
  5. Yep, race 4 today was fantastic. 4 late scr & a false start due to a huge fark up. The facilities are a dog, the track has the worst front runner bias in NZ & THE RACING IS A BORE from there. So damn sad that a facility like that represents NZ racing in our major city.

The issue I see, is the only active topic is whether the clown who f—ked this site in the first place returns or not. In the desire to keep everyone happy, No one now is here.
  7. Is the fat prick taking a crap or the greyhound?
  8. Shit steady on with the liking bit mate. & dont bloody knock Whitebaiting I happen to have 3 nets in the shed and go often. You are ok Hesi for a red.

  10. Wow, I got a few mesages saying did I see what was going on in "The Vent" section, mirrors what many on here claimed went on at RC. Maybe a few on here need to chill-lax a smidge as you have applied to me SLB, seems all is not good in The Comps dept.
  11. ha, "pretty much" & "vast majority" I wouldn't have thought would have been the same thing. "vast majority" suggests 95% which I wouldn't have thought was even close to the real situation, mind you many of your posts here could do with heavy moderation. Scooby seems a top bloke, constantly helping out those in the industry who have fallen on difficult times, so I would rather judge him on those efforts than a suppossed heavy moderation of SLB.
  12. I believe you. Strange though, I have never had a post altered or even gone close to having an issue there, they both seem real nice blokes to me.
  13. You got arsed from another forum for being a wanker, not thst hard to tell why.
  14. We all know that Porky, but if this was your business would you be throwing more money into the ring at a dying duck?, of course you wouldn’t. You can’t grow stakes when your income is shrinking without reducing costs. Entertainment options are a red herring except for Xmas time Porky, Kiwis are not interested in racing, pure and simple. Having the TAB for generations as a monopoly has made the event a yawn fest and allowed direct competitors for gambling discretionary dollar to muscle in on racing’s captive market, lotto, Pokies and Casinos present more vibrancy and satisfy the needs of low entry for mega return and instant results.
  15. Certainly not upset, he’s a stupid minded troll who is not worth getting upset over.
  16. Using your logic you could make the same argument about Winx or Black Caviar who beat zero. They only have to beat what’s against them, who is to say that MB has never been fully extended and there isn’t more improvement in her.
  17. Who gives a f—k, it’s not just about the money. The enjoyment of watching her compete for group1 in Aus would be worth the risk. Besides I am not into writing horses off on the basis of getting smacked in 1 or 2 runs over in Aus.
  18. Really? come on its relative to what they put in. Be buggered if I would have quit her at $3.25m either, she is a decent show of winning that next prep alone & like Galvin says still be worth $3.25 or perhaps even more. Besides, plenty of first time owners in here I understand, hardly going to quit her will still have stacks of racing ahead.
  19. That should be gone as well. I see the stupid clown is bombarding the same posters with this shit now.
  20. Yes, they are huge, I cant understand why they are not spliting 2 of the races and making it 11 races.
  21. PS: Porky, some of my most enjoyable race meeting attendances have been at Hastings (even in July) the viewing area and parade ring are super. I love the fella who makes the fried bread, yum. Its not all bad there mate. I like Wanganui for similar reasons, although the catering at Wanganui is below average, the coffee van is decent.
  22. Yes Porky a joke when you compare shitty little Hastings to Flemington or Randwick, both of which are in cities the size of NZs population. Now compare it to say Warrnambool (excluding the upcoming carnival) & its relatively similar, I have a mate who lives there and often he is one of no more than 100 in the crowd, pays massive prices for food and drink and $20 entry fee for a crappy day of maiden races, sound more familiar?.
  23. Trouble is here Curious, the games done and dusted in NZ. Not self supporting, a radical change is needed and now, people are going to be left behind, thats business unfortunately, better to do it now than lose everybody in 5 yrs which is the next option. Tough calls are needed, this is a business not a lifestyle that is supported by other taxpayers, thats called a benefit.
  24. Similar at Te Rapa today Turny, beautiful sunny warm day and only a reasonable crowd, but shit it’s boring on course now. Racings totally lost its way, failed to move with the times, has people lacking vision across all levels, constantly shits on its customers and so on. Interesting that the ladies behind the machines told me today that it’s got very quiet since Xmas and that midweek is near dead for them. More and more are .using the self service machines or their phone.
  25. Not really what I read, the owner was more likely downplaying the horses ability and stated he wasn't convinced of him just yet. Perhaps that was posted after yours, but still he does have a fairly decent horse there & when it finally puts it together then he could go further.
