I’ve noticed since the introduction of speed maps a lot of these races are run at a pedestrian tempo a lot of these jockeys are versed on where they should be in the running basically these races are mapped out they are to scared or to stupid to use their initiative You will hear a lot saying there is a track bias where in actual fact a lot of these races are run that slowly it’s just a sit and sprint Not only in NZ but over here in Aus as well
