Finally saw the light hey Gamma, right on every count re the South Island Utopia 😎. Ah nostalgia. Best days of my life. ps Was there for Enterprise’s Cup, and can tell you it was a NI gem of a drive that got him home 👌, peach to watch.

Eh? Then what was all the palaver about the premierships? The Trainers and Drivers Premierships are running 1 January to 31 December are they not? Correct, the racing calendar , as are the horses birthdays, the only three things that have changed. Unfortunately, mother nature says the breeding season is in spring , foals are born, mares served and this cant be changed. By changing the horses b/days they are hoping that more will be served after the new year without the penalty of foals turning one too soon. Thoroughbreds status quo. I think HRNZ have some more work to do re communicating this, bit of a hot potch.

Think thats Cinimod Junior beating Skipper Dale(his shadow roll gives him away I think), may have been the old Pan Am Mile? He won a Wellington Cup but got D'd over a caffiene positive I recall. Fergy minus his moustache, less wind resistance.

1995 Interdominion Final The best performance I've witnessed live, gave them all a start and a beating did that Aussie Golden Reign. What I noticed was Chokin's colours in the background, but he wasnt in the finish after that skirmish that Blossom Lady caused by letting Golden Reign go and then trying to come out a bit late,remember Master Musician being wiped out, but I think he got promoted post humously after Victor Supreme, fly eyes hood( leg liniment) & Young Mr Charles(caffiene?) got disqualified. What a great run.
