Yes Chief, 25% more than any other horse on the night is far out of whack Nearly $100,000 on a hot favourite is way out of whack too By asking you are admitting you had no idea, did you? The drive by Grant Dixon was fine given the racing style of it's previous 20 starts Dixon didn't go out because I'm guessing he knew that he would have wave after wave of stablemates attacking him He drove brilliantly to get off the rail quickly, he didn't check anyone behind him, if he did why wasn't he fined for that too? He came out from the 1x1 to get the death and was fined $200, so what? Using your logic that he is sinful because he got a $200 fine where does that put you with the other Driver's 3 weeks? Still waiting for your answer as to why Lilac Flash went 4 wide for no reason? She wasn't forced out by King Of The Stars, he was still behind her when she went AWOL What reason do you have for KOTS pulling out from what would have been the 1 out, 2 back to go 3 wide against One Change and COLT? You seem to be an expert on tracks, opn AWT's, and now on driving in harness races Fark, you are an expert on everything, it's hard to believe someone is so knowledgable about everything I'm not just sticking up for COLT, he was the benefit of team driving in the same race last year I think (Ohoka Punter setting it up for him if I remember rightly) Mikie

If you are now saying you have no idea, then yes I agree with you I think it’s more petulance on your part, you have no idea about the race, and you are just taking the opposite view to me because I upset Brodie Mikie

According to the Chief the unusually large amount wagered on Betfair on COLT to get beaten is me matching data after the fact to support my theory that the race was dodgy If it looks like a duck, it walks like a duck, snd it quacks, it’s probably a farken duck The Betfair wagering is but another indication, the driving in the race doesn’t stack up Why does a leading reins man get charged with unacceptable or incompetent driving? Just on a whim? Sorry Chief, I’m not one of those that subscribe to the theory that you have to have driven in a race to be able to spot a rort, but you have no idea Mikie

Hand up the death to a horse going no good (your words)? Hand up to a horse whose record indicates it would fall back in his lap? Or more likely Gand up to s horse whose stablemate, yet another, would whiz around to put COLT 3 back as LF attempted to do? Its not arrogant to assume you have no idea what you are talking about Chief Mikie
-
How can a horse came out under her when he’s behind her unless she moves out first? Mikie
-
No Chief, you are wrong again I was not working on the premise was dodgy because of Betfair I didn't have any idea about the Betfair amounts until after I saw the race and thought this is unbelievable After I thought that I did my research into who was married to who, who trains who, and then I looked into the Betfair turnover I think it would have been about Tuesday that I found the Betfair amounts Mikie
-
The material difference is that COLT would not have a horse outside it forcing him to run a 28 second quarter What's so hard to see about that? Why did Lilac Flash move 4 wide to let her stablemate through? Any ideas? A sunday stroll? Better going? Track bias?
-
Bujt why did she pull 4 wide and let the stablemate through before being restrained to the rear? Mikie
-
I just assumed you knew how Betfair works It was multiple people who all laid COLT to lose at about his starting price, since his starting price hardly deviated from his opening price Regardless of whether it was 1 person or 100,000 people, it is odd that a near champion gets laid for more than any other horse on the night I'm told by 25% morse than any other horse Ain't that odd? Mike
-
Really? How would King Of The Stars have got outside COLT? Are you saying he would have gone 4 wide to get around Lilac Flash? FFS Chief, you're being deliberately thick Mikie
-
OK, so now why don't you look at the race subjectively and with the benefit of hindsight and take cognisance of the Betfair money Tell me what possessed someone(s) to wake up on Saturday moring and lay a horse that had been in the quinella 21 times in a row or something like that to lose Mikie
-
After some research the horse that Jack drove was Hollywood Rooki 31 starts without a win Atimely break and then 2 wins at Bathurst and Canberra Running a second outside Scandalman's, the Derby winner, track record under a stranglehold It must be the water in those spelling paddocks Mikie
-
Nothing strange about Lilac Flash going 4 wide for no reason Harewood? Lost her compass? Mikie
-
Yes that's true And then COLT would have eased out and gone to the death What you seem to be avoiding is why a horse in the 1 out, 2 back would bolt up 3 wide outside a horse like COLT? Perhaps the Driver was an Amateur? Oh no, he;'s a leading reinsman. So WTF did he do it? Mikie
-
I'm sure COLT was quite happy to ease off the gate, then move around and sit parked Although he might have had 2nd thoughts when he lobbed the 1x1 Push for the lead after a 28.1 quarter when the leader wasn''t handing? Are you a great fan of speed duels and both horses dropping out? Mikie
-
I'm sure they sleep great Gammalite After all, horses are just commodities aren't they Let's just fark them up with EPO, blood blockers and whatever Who cares if a few die, there's plenty more Mikie
-
FFS, are you trying to be thick? I said the leader didn't dictate the speed The speed he went was in order to keep the other 2 out So the other 2 went the same 28.1 quarter and went harder if anything because they weren't on the pole line If they hadn't been up there outside him doing it do you think the leader's Driver would have just chucked in a 28 second quarter for fun? Stick to the Thoroughbreds Chief, you're out of your depth I think your posts are more about disagreeing with me, you probably have no real view whatsoever Mikie
-
So he's either incompetent or a leading driver If he is a leading driver why did he drive like an Amateur? Just coincidence? Nothing to do with the punt on COLT to get beaten? Yeah right mate Mikie
-
Again, where does the "everything." come in? I post about 1 race, and it offshoots into an illegal training setup and EPO That's 3 things, that's not "everything' Gammalite ,Mikie
-
The leader did not dictate the sectional The 2 outside the leader were responsible for the speed Don't you think most leaders would prefer a 30 second quarter? Yes I think it materially affected the outcome One Change went so good he may have won anyway, but COLT if not winning runs 2nd I never had a bet, but this was so obvious that it was ridiculous So a leading reinsman gets 3 weeks for an unacceptable drive? Why did he drive so unacceptably in this race? Just coincidence?
-
Apparently I ask too many questions for poor Gammalite's liking But here';s another couple Why were Luke McCarthy's horses (oops again, Mr Cross's horses) allowed to start on 12.12.20 after a used syringe with Aloe Vera in it was discovered in the Stables on raceday? Does anyone else think it's strange that the syringe was only used on 3 horses that weren't racing that night according to Mccarthy, oops Cross, no oops the stablehand? Mikie
-
What a nonsensical question COLT was beaten for speed out of the gate It's the tactics of other Drivers I have described that are the cause of concern Of course he couldn't get past COLT, he was never good enough, not on past performances, not in anyone's book So why did he leave the 1 out, 3 back line to sizzle 3 wide? Oh , and the leader went the 28.1 second quarter? The death and the 3 wide didn't? He got 3 weeks, he's bloody lucky Why do you feel the need to sully the waters with dumb posts? Is Gammalite really Brodie? Mikie
-
Are you ok Gammalite? Betfair is a licensed operator, people match with each other, it is a completely normal operation. You could argue that by backing #1 to win on the Tote, you are betting that #2, #3, #4 etc are going to lose. Not a hell of a lot different. What stands out is that so much was bet on COLT to lose. That's abnormal Lilac Flash was marginally forced 3 wide and cost COL;T'S driver $300. Why did she go 4 wide? I'm not at all upset nor am I crying foul I'm just saying I think that a small family cartel cheated in order to get the favourite beaten Mikie
-
If the horse wasn't travelling well Chief, why did the Driver leave the 1 out, 2 back position to run a 28.1 quarter 3 wide with 1200m to go? Bit odd you say? Really odd I'd say There's hubby, wife, sister out there and all there horses were driven in a questionable way. Couple that with the winning Trainer's sister, driving Lilac Flash, pulling her horse 4 wide for no reason You're not a complete noddy or novice Chief, what do you think convinced anyone to wager near $100,000 on COLT to get beat? That's not on any other runner to win, but on COLT to be beaten. It was the highest amount laid against any horse on the night. Isn't that strange? I can't follow Gammalite at all. I haven't called him a nutter, in fact I haven't called him anything at all. By disagreeing with him myself and Enteebee are now haters? Tell him to grow a pair As well as the Luke McCarthy debacle with the PBD Group 3 races there's also the stigma of EPO in Ozzie How many horses have come out and pissed in having their 1st start in 4 weeks? Crikey, one the ex-Kiwi Jack Trainor drove would have run 3 more laps if they hadn't have installed disc brakes Mikie
-
Yes she did, she killed her horse to cross with the sole intention of getting COLT 3 deep on the markers, but COLT's driver was awake to that and eased off Apologies, a 28.1 second quarter with 1200m to go, you are quite right, I should pay more attention, however this only makes things look worse for the drivers, not better Why did Lilac Flash pull 3 wi4 wide to let King Of The Stars through? Was the going better out wide? I think One Change went great and good on him, but I think the smart money was on the 2nd horse Take it from me, there was nearly $100,000 on COLT to get beaten, you can't really answer that? You inferred he was a champion or close to it and I agree, so what did those laying $100,000 know? Mikie
