  1. If I driver 🀠 I think I would make up rule 102, no Kamikazi driving for lead πŸ˜› I would slap myself if I broke rule πŸ™ƒ
  2. And I saw tonight there, kamikazi driving for lead. When I see this I wonder why? Could someone please educate me as to why drivers do this?
  3. Well thought I'd start a new topic, site has gone somewhat quiet. There are some nice meetings coming up at Cambridge over the next few weeks, so feel free over the next few weeks to contribute here πŸ‘ Race 6 just ran, well the starter is not mucking around and good for him/her. Whistle blown, your are taking too long horsie, 2nd chance your out. Late scratched πŸ‘ The CEO there D Branch seems like an on-to-it person, who is enthusiastic πŸ‘ Big crowd tonight too πŸ‘
  4. Maybe from the naughty behaviour, I read about on here breaking twice ... If I break up, that's a really good way to get out of this racing thing πŸ€“ No idea.
  5. Spitty won a trial yesterday in 2-01.6 at Forbury. The non-winners race 3, same track same distance winner ran a MR2-01.2 Spittys overall time of 2-46.3 trial was faster than the time of the 3rd placed horse of 2-47.3 Yes I know workouts and trials are different to race day. Im not going to write wee Spitty off just yet.
  6. Because people like myself who have heard the exact same story you have said above, have chosen to wait for facts to come out, not wanting to potentially spread mis-information. For me at this stage, it is just a story (maybe fiction and maybe non-fiction) and until full facts come out, I'll keep it as that.
  7. Great pic πŸ‘ I started following Harness 2018, so remember watching Shez All Rock race once to win Jewels final NZ. She was grand wasn't she. She looks beautiful too in this pic and what a cutie her mini-me is.
  8. Saw this on Woodlands Facebook page today, they posted it recently.
  9. Maybe rule 101 for you Gamms πŸ˜‡
  10. Haha. That is a good 1 liner. In USA, it is common practice to tip certain service people. I was not following harness when lived there so am not 100% sure, however, I would not be surprised if Dexter gets some tips and also possibly trainers. In NZ the odd owner could also reward, trainer - drivers. At workouts could this tip type thing be happen ... I don't know of a drivers fee for workouts for example.
  11. Hey Rangi Yeah, I even heard your name. I think its mean. All of it. And I also think the name calling even directed at you is mean, no matter who it is from. I especially don’t like mean direction at drivers or trainers etc that come on here to contribute. It would just put them off posting again on here. I like their input. I mean why would they if they will just be attacked. I personally, don’t hold grudges even if I disagree with someone on 1 subject. I challenged Chief on something recently. I hope he doesn't have the s..ts with me. I still respect him and like his posts. That is just my take. Each to their own. I hope you are having a nice evening. Logging off for the nite.
  12. Blossom, You had a bit to say about an amateur driver. Hit us with your Country Cup story πŸ™‚
  13. That was what I suspected. However did not want to allege anything. That was what I read re 2 ATC. With my friends of friends, I heard the story how the leading lady owner would go get her hair done and dress up, incase her horse won the country cup. The horse ended up being crowned King of the Country Cups of the North. What an achievement for them. Super exciting. Shows how much these things mean to people. I hope the Country Cups continues and the series stays alive, even if it is not for this season. My favourite races to watch are the Groups, followed by Country Cups. Will have to be a wait for the 1st 2 y-o race as it will not be run this Fri. Feel free anyone to share your Country Cup story ...
  14. Oh yeah and Nats hot πŸ”₯ And Brodie is a restricted punter. Come on Brodie - you have gone MIA. Come back. I miss your posts.
  15. Peeps - why are we still debating this, it was like yesterdays news, no wait last Fridays hot topic. 16 days to go and it is the New Year. New year bringing new beginnings. I liked the drives on Henry Hubert - T Williams and Classie Brigade, J Dunn in Green Mile, oh wait I have already said that. Oh well seemings we are just repeating ourselves. Is this the new norm? Park that stablemate 🀠
  16. Oh dear only 2 noms for the race. Wonder why that is? May not get off the ground.
  17. No idea sorry Mikey. With the winds of change on the horizon, be interesting to see who is fighting it out to be top dog come Jewels day at Camb. The first 2 y-o race is this Fri.
  18. Speaking of Country Cups, just the other day I recall reading a post by Mikie that he had won 2 Country Cup Finals. I think the same of Hunter, winning a Country Cup or 2. I have friends of friends that have. I wonder how many others on this site also have or have an connection to it. Probably lots.
  19. Great topic Hunter. I like the Country Cups. Keep an eye on the points board, as I do with the Jewels. I have not followed what is happening with this years Country Cups in North? Will they still have them and just run at Mana? And points still go toward prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd ... ?
  20. You know what, I feel like I maybe coming across as All Stars dislikers, so here goes, one thing I have to say is Nat is hot. I have never seen this statement. I wonder why. Can I say that. Well lets see ... Subjective yes, but I have been to the playboy mansion more than once blah blah, lived in LA blah blah and my best American friends are brother and sis in-law of P Anderson, blah blah. Trying to give praise where praise is due. Am I full of embellishment? Grammalite Im gunna blame you for this lol. The balanced post. I don't really care about the MDMA thing, if that is a fact. Each to their own. As long as they are not hurting anyone.
  21. Hi Blossom, Im not coming at you, did feel like your comment was a bit harsh towards Fitzgerald, however in saying that I was not aware of anything re whipping horse in stabling area. Oh dear.
  22. Watching the replay of race and I am happy for connections of Henry Hubert. He got himself to the front and stayed there, held on by a neck. Why should he have to hand up to anyone after getting to lead. The stable still nearly got the quinella too. Just missed by a nose. And yes nice drive. Nice work team Dunn 1st and 3rd.
  23. Haha. They certainly are. I'v only been following for approx 2 years. So still learning lots, had never heard of Cheer The Lady, nor Twist and Twirl until now. So sorry can't answer that question. But cool fun fact.
  24. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
  25. Hey Davis, Yes I thought when I posted that it looks like I was talking to you, when I was not really re that, I just added it to my reply re 3 y-o filly as did not know where else to put it. I don't even think you posted about this lol. So to patch up any confusion. Sorry about that. I agree with all you say. I kind of wish I didn't say anything to get involved in it. Just posted as how I thought I would feel from an owners point of view. So will leave it at that. Anyways Im logging off for day cheerio πŸ‘‹
