As I said I have only just heard about it and I have got no idea about how it is going to work! Details are very sketchy at this stage and I know no details about how it is going to work Ranga! All I am damn well saying is that the NZ government or NZ TAB have no right whatsoever to know how much I am putting on a horse or how much I am collecting!! FFS a collect of $1000 is sending out alarm bells to the NZ Government??????? Best they get on and ensure that they run the country better than what they are currently doing rather than worry about people collecting $1000 in winnings from the TAB! Just Absolute BS!!!!!

Yes I believe it does! If young blokes are not coming thru then the industry is going backwards. You have to get the young ones coming thru as older ones will move on to grazing paddocks. I would doubt that most of the young junior girls that we currently have will continue in the industry to any great degree once they are out of their junior days. No money in it and they generally have a family

Interesting to note and a wee bit perturbing that the Juniors race at Forbury on Thursday night has a field of 11 runners and only 4 are male the other 7 are the other sex! Great that female drivers are getting opportunities but surely it is a bit of a worry that there seems to now be a shortage of junior male drivers coming through the system! The kid carts is possibly a big reason that there are now a lot more females working in harness stables and driving! Without the females in the junior ranks it would appear that many of the junior races in the S.I. May not run and we all know that there is a total shortage in the N.I. Interesting times ahead.

Government intervention apparently Happy. Dont know the details but it looks like it is coming in. This government doesn’t like people who do well for themselves. They try to take it off them and give to the ones that don’t deserve it.

Jerry Garcia is light years ahead of Majestic Sunset by way of their current ability. Personally believe that Jerry hasn’t been put into the race at all the last couple of starts at Addington, why I am not too sure? The handicapping system that was brought in just doesn’t work and never will the way it currently is! Ridiculous when winners can get below non winners in ratings! There are many horses that have done exceedingly well out of it like E.g Aveross Rustler, Pay Me Visa who have won recently and would not have won half the no. Of races under the old system! Back to the drawing board or the no. Of horses racing In the tighter class races are going to dwindle and more are off overseas.

Geez it is getting a bit messy now that names have been mentioned. The Thing is that this was bound to happen as it is becoming so drawn out now it isn’t funny. Personally think that there is not a lot in all the charges that have been brought, or some would have been heard! This is certainly showing up our justice system as being extremely amateur and it is not fair that so many have these clouds hanging over their heads until the charges have been heard! If they have evidence that there has been wrongdoing then get it over and done with and let the charged move on with their lives! Not sure what Mila Kunis has done to have the horse so short, although it is s pretty weak maiden field. Already Gone has halved but It takes very little money on to have the Bookies slash the odds. Several small win or place bets have them running for cover nowadays, and they even slash the odds if bets aren’t even accepted by the punter!!!! Someone must know something and it has shown a bit of ability lining up in far better fillies races. Hasnt got much gate speed but it may not need much in this field.

He won because Blair had the House drives at Manawatu that Dexter previously had. No point comparing as both extraordinary drivers for their era. Dexter has quickly become one of the very best in the U.S. however still extremely boring racing over the mile over there!!!

Wasn’t there another driver that dominated the premiership for a helluva long time who went by the name of Dexter Dunn? Both very talented reinsman and very difficult to compare different decades as there were drivers like Maurice Holmes!

We are all satisfied with everything to do with harness racing at the moment!

Never shown enough to win a race and walked them and still not good enough! Some are alllwed to put plenty on and others nothing! Come on TAB give everyone a fair go!!!!!
