TABFORVEVER, can you kindly advise why your mates changed the graphics and info that we had last week? Personally can not see one thing that is of any benefit to the viewers! Not one! Why did they remove all PLACE ODDS? Why is there no betting pools? What was wrong with the previous colours? Do you think that many gives a rats what the trackside presenters think??? Does anyone actually care about who the trainers of greyhounds are in OZ??? Do you know who the DICKHEAD was that approved the changes??? It is AMATEUR TIME from Entain without doubt!

What was actually wrong with the way it was before? What has the changes actually achieved? What I do know is that it is to the detriment of racing and although they wont say it, the presenters and commentators wont be thinking it is an improvement!

No room for any place odds as nobody needs to see what they are! However, plenty of room for presenters tips, 1st 2nd 3rd and 4th picks but they cant all win, but we do not know what any of the place odds are?? Nobody gives a toss what Aaron White’s 4 picks out of 8 dogs are that covers part of the screen! Diabolical!

You couldnt make this up! Christopher Haigh also stated “it’s believed the new dividends display will have a new renewed focus on fixed odds betting which now dwarfs tote betting for most meetings and is therefore a far more accurate guide of the market” 😂 Mr Haigh if fixed odds is what people want the info on, can you please advise us all why you REMOVED THE FIXED ODDS PLACE ODDS????????? Why dont they just come out and tell us the real reason that they are trying to stuff racing? This is going to be an absolute disaster for the TAB without doubt!

Entain’s Chief Media Officer Christopher Haigh, states that their new look has more space for live racing video to be displayed, alongside providing viewers with more of the key betting information they need! What an absolute load of BS, they have taken away so much of the key betting info required!!!! Mr Haigh must be on some pretty strong stuff that has made him delusional?

Everyone is allowed their opinions obviously, we now live in a democratic country unlike what we had for the last 6 years! I have yet to hear from anyone as to the benefit of removing PLACE dividends from the Trackside screeen! Absolute lunacy and TAB or Entain have not done research on what the punters want at all, or they would not have changed what was working! Galah, have you ever heard from anyone at all complaining about the way the Fixed Odds or tote odds were displayed on Trackside????? Not sure at all what you mean about me complaining about having the two win dividends up before, never mentioned this at all, as it didnt bother me at all. Anyway it is not up to Brodie to determine how the TAB and Entain operate their Trackside channel but I can guarantee that it is going to cost them a helluva lot of wagering and loss of revenue! You watch the complaints that come in and if I was a betting man, I would bet that there will be some major changes to this current format! Not sure about your TV but I reckon the pictures are a lot hazier than they were for some reason! Anyway good to have debate and far better than the loveathon on the Darkside forum.

Give me one logical benefit of putting up the 2 win options alongside each other? So if the tote win odds are a lot more than the fixed win odds, everyone will whip into the tote win odds not knowing what is in the tote pool? The place pools fixed and tote are every bit as popular as win pools!!! You will have people who have been watching Trackside that will nlt bother and will not be betting without place odds up. You could tell today that the presenters were having difficulty with not having place odds up as they couldnt talk about them as they were not on screen! But hey, was’nt it just great to see the speed of the greyhounds in the race some were going at 63.2 km per hour and some were 63.4km per hour! How spoilt we are going to be having so much detail! With respect, Just makes you wonder how these Clowns get in these positions?

Just makes no sense to have changed the previous format that Worked! So you have these win odds up both tote and fixed and some are say at $50 to win! Punters arent going to be taking that but would be interested to see what the place are? They are going to be losing a lot of turnover over this, you watch!

It is a terrible decision to not be showing place odds!! Can anyone workout why on earth they would even think there is any positives to doing this??? Does the TAB expect punters who are watching Trackside to just bet without any idea of what the place odds are?? This is going go backfire on whoever approved this!

Lets hear from the TAB as to why they have decided to end showing the Place dividends? Seriously, it does look like they want to put people off wagering with them on racing! This is another stuff up which they will end up having to reverse as there is no logic to it whatsoever!

No it would end it for harness racing! How is it beneficial for anyone,? Punters arent going to bet into place, when it is a mystery as to what the place odds are unless they are on an ipad or phone? What is their reasoning, as they say they eant to provide more info for the punter, and yet they take away important info?

Great to see Trackside and Entain trying to make harness racing great again in NZ! They want to get people excited again and get then into wagering to increase turnover so that racing remains viable! The BIG night is on Friday week at Cambridge! Yes I am sure they are chucking money into “The Race” might as well give the Corporates and ones that dont need it more! Is there a lot of excitement in the harness world???

Just read an article on HRNZ saying the fields for both “the Race” and the TAB Trot are now complete It states that the TAB Trot have been gifted $25k, that is right $25k, from the Northern Regional Programming Fund!!! I thought these races were SLOT RACES and the stake money provided by the slot holders who pay to be in the race? The race was already filled and slots paid for by the slot holders, and the slot holders were obviously happy with things! So, why on earth has the Northern Regional Programming Fund GIFTED an additional $25k to the slot holders who are corporates or groups that are financially well off? I wonder who actually authorised this as I am sure that the TAB Trot did not need any GIFT from HRNZ or clearly the North harness is in a very healthy situation? We can clearly see why the North Island racing is in the crap, when they have these crazy decisions being made!!!! The meeting is going to run at a loss anyway, and to chuck away another $25k from the coffers of HRNZ when it couldve been used far better is mind boggling!! Does anyone know who actually approved this wastage, when these Slot Races are just a transfer of wealth, and when so many others in the industry are battling??

Never been a Bookmaker, Chief and wouldnt be the first time I have been a disappointment😂. They dont need to advise everyone how much is being put into each horse on every race! would be more interesting if they advised us how much in total they were accepting on fixed odds betting each meeting! Does anyone that has bet on the tote give a rats as to how much is in the tote pools? Showing how little is in the tote pools is actually showing the decline in tote beting, and is that beneficial to anyone?

So why do they post what the tote pools are on Trackside? All they are now showing is that interest is significantly dropping off on tote wagering! If it continues the way it currently is, there is going to be very few betting on the tote, as the pool wont be able to sustain any semi reasonable wager? personally I can not see why they need to hide the amount being wagered on Fixed Odds, it could well be a positive for the TAB if it show significant growth! The odds are always in the TAB’s favour with the % they offer and therefore they need to be acting in good faith by accepting all punters wagers to an acceptable level!!

I wouldnt need to know that, but supposedly the $ are going on fixed odds instead of the tote! If we knew the fixed odds amounts being wagered we would be able to judge if this is the case.
