That is the problem with not being face to face talking to someone, social media has taken away all our natural instincts, reading people's expressions etc

Problem is social media is the toilet of the world, you have to be careful now as not everyone can take a "piss take" or see the lighter side of things, I certainly look at some of the things I say especially after getting a few beers on board and think, hope people see the funny side of that!

I don't think it's too bad, considering most pubs with a tab up my way on Melbourne cup day have a "Melbourne cup function" which they normally charge $50 plus for!.....but the NZ met should have a system whereby the regular punters who go along every Friday night are rewarded with a free cup day pass for Their loyalty,

I guess it's once a year when NZ met get to make hay, a good place to watch is rose and thistle by Northlands mall in Christchurch, $10 pint and bet...beer and a $4 bet every time you go to the bar, I know when I've been in chch on a Saturday they do that all day, sure they do it on cup day too.
