Fully agree, stuck out like dogs balls, stipes need to act as this is what all stars continually do, but a blind eye is always turned on their team driving.....no driver would have given up that position so close to the finish, they would have left their biggest rival shanghaied out wide......they know they always get away with it, so have become more blatant.

Quite right gammalite no one interested in live racing, there is a big tab area inside now with big screens loads of rows of seats etc and unbelievably people actually got to the track and just sit in there and watch the races on the telly! and another 20 or 30 just in the pokies area wouldn't know what day it is.......what's the fucking point!!! We had a table in one of the function rooms, but we went out to watch the races, those 2200m races are great to watch the start of, right in front of of the public......and the grass coming up through the concrete!

I went Friday and the tab area and pokies were busy !!!! + function rooms top of the park etc, but outside is a far cry from a normal Saturday night when I was a kid.. + The happy bus lost passenger

Next it will be you are only allowed to flick the rains 10 times and so on, until in 30 years time all racing is banned, and the vegans manage to get their way and all the horses are sent to the pet food factory as owners can't afford their up keep and trainers and drivers are unemployed.....all the farms by then will be shut and we will be getting aid and food parcels from Ethiopia!!..... And brodster restricted from nut roasts!

Any of the Australian drivers got nicknames that Aaron can cream himself with? I was hoping Chris Alford "the puppet" could have been driving here.....the chief, the wizard and the postman all have i.d heat drives for the home team, he should be able to make one up for Anthony frisbee surely

Well I hope not, they can be very predictable with their driving tactics and can turn a race into a predictable bore fest..... they will have to work this interdomions, along way for the Aussies to come to hand it to them on a plate.

A new Aussie guy going to be starting on track side radio, joined mark Claydon today and did the last half of claydo's show.... seems very a decent chap, was the northern territory race caller. I'm sure will be doing some race calling at some point. not sure what his surname is, but Patrick was his first name .... mark Claydon kept saying his last name, but I couldn't understand him as he mumbles and talks as though he has a blocked nose, so it sounded like Patrick cumalot! ..over to you thommo!
