I’ve now found myself investing a heap less on Aus racing on a Saturday…. and here is the main reason. While betting on IPhone, Sportsbet supplied full or partial replay on most races, select a horse and watch straight away, real quick and valuable for a punter. 1, SB allowed EW multi bets together, NZ no. 2, SB allowed less than 5% exotic bets, great for huge quaddie pools, NZ no. 3, SB form guide fantastic. 4, NRL match offers, money back if any lose, TAB offer 1 leg lose, but can’t take more than one in game. 5, SB offered 3 race multi rescue, Betcha 4 races. 6, SB regularly gave money back if a horse missed start, gave money back on losing quads. 7, NBA offers, 2 leg multi, any lose bonus back No doubt others will remember these offers, certainly makes the dollars stretch more. in fact, the best thing about Betch & TAB, when you withdraw its in your account quick…. It did take a few days to get from SB

Oh dear…. TAB are scraping the barrel now, this is there big deal breaker of the day, a $26 shot in a 14 nag field….wont entice me, that’s pathetic. So 6th week not betting with TAB , balance ZERO.. Worth noting, Betcha have plenty 2nd & 3rd back deals today, first 4 races Addington, Oamaru & Dogs….as well as extras to use on other races with 4 or more races, then a few offers on sport. So what am I missing here, 6 months ago I would bet with TAB, Betcha and Sportsbet….. now SB gone, what was the point of Betcha coming to market? They were supposed to target sports punters, but really they offer more on racing than TAB, so punters switch but there is no point increase in betting😁😁😁 OMG, what were the goons expecting at TAB, just reduce promos and watch NZ punters flock back🫣

Well…. how’s this. I’m sick of NZ racing wanting to be propped up while I’m having a bet tonight on the AFL & NRL…. and to make matters worse, odds are less than Aus operators. Funny thou, so many dreamers reckoned NZ racing would survive without gambling 🤣🤣🤣

That’s just my issue, NZ racing want their share, even though I mainly bet on Aus racing and overseas sports? Betcha on a Friday night usually give me 2nd and 3rd back, so I will usually bet then, if they don’t might only have one or 2 bets, they know that if they offer its more likely I bet into or over nights sports.

Oh well, feel better this morning, got the bread and butter….sadly TAB & Chief are missing out on the milk….. TAB are so stupid, this is what they should have done/ not done once punters were restricted from overseas betting. 1, Should have more promotions, more bet deposit options. This was their one chance for punters to say TAB are looking after them same as Aussie operators. But no they decrease bigtime, many complaining about decrease on social media with poor odds, promos etc. Many punters like myself, stopped betting in protest. 2, The amount of advertising bragging that NZs can no longer bet in Aus? That just pisses punters off. 3, Trying to get new account holders? Get real, most aus account holders will already have TAB account, and the match deposit is pathetic. Somebody must have early TAB figures, hope they slide bigtime.

Anyone serious about live betting would have a Betfair account. Better odds, low takeouts, and for main markets the pools are huge, but best of all the never get suspended. Sportsbet had live options but you had to ring to place bets, which was a hassle and I never did. So at least NZ has live betting, just getting suspended is the problem

Myself and and a few mates have opened Betcha from start…. slowly the promotions are getting less….unless your into boxing. What are the differences? Odds, majority bet types, App, deposit, withdrawal all the same. Betcha- Offer boxing promos and sport mainly, I do get 2nd & 3rd back first 6 races on the 2 harness meetings on a Friday which I like, then usually same on a few meetings Sat. Can take less than 5% units on exotic bets , although at fixed odds it’s a gamble that they pay more than TAB, although I have had good collects when Quaddie pools are small at TAB and fixed odds over on Betcha. Also get bet returns and SGM 1 leg loses offers, good thing about this is you can use on any sport / racing. Offers on dogs too. No tote betting, Fixed or SP TAB- Promos have basically stopped for me, except the first 2 races 2nd,3rd promotions. They offer SGM all ups but that’s about it, same old boring shit compared to Sportsbet. Their Odds Surge pops up, but really their odds are usually so poor early on that it’s hard to find any overs, majority of time odds better close to jump. Also hop onto the BGP site to see what boys have labelled, the sheep on there punt on it regardless of chance…. TAB reacts quickly so usually getting unders. I dont think you do much sports betting…. Betcha is exactly the same as TAB, except different promos. They both suspend betting so often and for so long…. That’s not what you want with live betting….

Look, my main peeve is that NZ Racing is dependant more than ever on punters, so even if a punter never bets on NZ racing and only overseas sports, he is effectively helping NZ racing restore tracks, starting gates, stakes, upgrades….. it’s just fucken greedy, entitled pricks that think the can do what they want….. poor old punters getting it up the arse again. Just imagine tomorrow being told that NO overseas wine can be purchased…. as we need to protect local growers, end of story…

Ya dreaming…. As for shares, well I have not heard anyone say they will spend their overseas spend now in NZ…. and no way will Entain be allowed to take Aus greyhound races for betting…. the Greenies will see to that….. so not gonna be too good for Entain….
