Portfolio Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 Owners must be mad for selling horse for $80k, its not had many starts. They are stupid. If it is sold, new owners will be jumping up and down, some maidens are sold for $30k plus? Will be racing for top money each week in aussie, i think it could win good races over there, making good money. Owners will regret this crazy move, thats for sure. 3 Quote

Newmarket Posted November 20, 2018 Author Posted November 20, 2018 I see Tiger Thomson off to the states? Thats interesting, thought Aus would be far better option with his gate speed. Ohanzee been sold too. I see II Parata has changed stables to CJ Defillipi. I have always thought this horse was pretty good, lets see how CJ goes with it. Went two good 3rds over cup week. Quote

Just shows you once again how hard it is at the top. The only logical thing to do is sell. At 5 years old there is nowhere left to turn for him. 1 Quote

the galah Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 (edited) Just proof of what brodie has said. One stables dominance is having negative consequences on harness racing, mostly at the top end. Trainers realise they are uncompetitve, they either sell or start taking steps which sees them sometimes ending up in court. Its a self perpetuating problem. That's just the way it is. Look at the facts. Edited December 10, 2018 by the galah 2 Quote
hunterthepunter Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 in time will be lucky if there are 5 races at a race meeting will be down hill for a lot of clubs so Brodies on the money again lol 1 Quote
