@Newmarket J Kah has some nice rides at Eagle Farm on Saturday.

Want to have a bet?

They are big fields there Chief, I think she will struggle to win a race!! Which one do you like the best, we can lay it 😗

I thought Saban run home well for 2nd, never going to win but beat rest easily.

Hezashocka - A beautiful ride by Jamie Kah for the NZ connections including Keith Haub and the Clotworthy's.

Well, we know it loves wet track, one of a few to handle conditions.

$2 fav…. Once again you could have ridden. Let me know what you think of here other runners, you seem to be an expert after the race.

I didn't have a bet in the race.  No real value.

You did say she'd struggle to win a race.  Didn't seem that much of a struggle.

Jamie had em all struggling in the $1,000,000 Sires Produce Stakes just now.

You want the best jockeys on in these feature races, and even though it drew the widest and had to go to the back, she balanced him up and stormed home to win !!! well done Broadsiding.

Cool as a cucumber is young Jamie. (and a nice anchor for all my multi's lol)  another 10/10 rated ride as usual. The Natalie Rass of the galloping world !!🏆💰😎

Another beautiful ride by Jamie Kah.  She's on fire.  Geez did you think she'd get Broadsiding hone from draw 17!!!

Come on, don’t be a dick. Another $2 shot, taken back after drawing wide, then a slight check.
Horse was just that much better, what was special about it?

Who's looking the big dick after saying she'd struggle to win a race today?  Let me guess @Newmarket perchance?  Yep definitely.

Perfectly ridden from the draw and a no panic ride.

I reluctantly have a sizeable bet on Saban later, thought horse primed and great value at $11. Sadly, she is riding it, which made me bet less.
Let’s see how she goes in next few races when she’s not on hotpot, hopefully she can get Saban home🤭

Why bet less when she is riding in great form?  Regardless if you think $11's is great value then pile it on.

Best of Luck with the bet 💰. Moods has the Derby favourite the filly Autumn Angel in it as well . so has put Jamie on the second stringer here, so a good tester ? 😁

Jamie Kah got beat on her last start (up in QLD by the No.1 horse in the Derby today)  so looks like Moods has plonked Zahra back on who won on her at Flemington and Randwick . She (Autumn Angel) looks terribly hard to beat drawn the pole as well , so a nice trailing draw over 2400m.

What do you think of First Innings Chief (or Newmarket or anyone) ? was it any good in NZ.? NZer Forsman has it here in the Derby race 8 as well. and it seemed to stick on well first up caught wide . seems a show ?

Big tip for Warmonger today too , going round.

Well the tip for Warmonger was right, killed them.
As for Saban, well drew wide yet Kah got her back last on inner? Mmm, did save ground on turn, don’t think handled ground that well. At least it came 4th, so got most of Chief Stipeh back

slightly off track:  nice to see the D Stackhouse doing so well! I recall seeing him riding at Wingatui a few years back, mentioned to a few how he had a nice presence on a horse! Impressive to see M Dee maturing so well as well! The two at the top are World Class :)

Star jockey Jamie Kah has been locked in to ride the Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained Point King in the Melbourne Cup.

Kah and Point King combined to win the Archer Stakes (2500m) in mid-September, which meant the horse was exempt from the ballot for the Cup.

She is two-from-two on the horse, having careered to a dominant win at The Valley on him in August over 2040m.

Point King is allotted 50.5kg for the 3200m feature.

What happens when a world-class jockey hits back at the media? Jamie Kah and Ben Melham aren't holding back. Just before one of the biggest events of the year, The Everest, Kah fired off at News Corp for a “garbage” article that dragged her personal life and past controversies into the spotlight. After dedicating her life to the sport, this hit her hard. But the couple isn’t staying silent.

Melham didn’t mince words either, calling out the “gutter journalism” they’ve come to expect.

Jockey power couple Jamie Kah and Ben Melham have led a chorus of criticism directed at News Corp for a “grabage” feature on Kah ahead of The Everest. Veteran columnist Andrew Rule penned a lengthy article about Kah, which detailed the jockey’s rise to superstardom from when she left South Australia to Victoria in 2019. But while the article praised Kah’s skills as one of the country’s best jockeys, it also went into depth about her personal life and controversies.

“After all I do to help promote this industry that has been my whole life for so many years, to read this absolute garbage from Andrew Rule breaks my heart,” Kah tweeted. “It’s all nothing close to the truth, and he liked including me falling and nearly dying. How can he write this and think he’s a good person?” Melham, who was referred to as “the black night of the jockeys’ room” in the article, was also scathing.

Must be some sort of good chance too. LLoyd Williams preparing Many a Melbourne Cup winner over the years.

Racing Victoria always refused to give him the trainers License for some reason . Must of not been able to fill the required criteria or something. Anyway the Billionaire raced his horses in many trainers names from his property , and took a few victories.

NZer dual code expert, Graeme Rogerson was one of them a while back . with Efficient .

Point King will run for Jamie with a Stack of Williams multiple Cup winning experience for sure, to bring him right into play for a Cup win for Jamie if he draws reasonable.

So from an average ride by JMac on Broadsiding to Jamie Kah at 49.5kg.

Can it beat 'JENNI ' High Tailing It  out in front though Chief. ?

I had the ''Brightside' Champ in the COX last year and Jmac Won the race by a short half snotter with some Asian Horse. wonder if history repeats ? (Asian Horse beating Brightside again ?)

or will 'JENNI' blow them off the park?,  just like a NZ 'Sunline'  type mare would do.

I so hope that they give us a decent lead in into the race! I have a fifty bonus from a mug bet to use!  Anyway! Always a exciting race! :)  I recon I would have bet into this race more that any other in me 50 years as punter! A race that so often sorts the form out once and for all! Those 'foreign' horse certainly add a interesting twist! I actually like that its a small field! :)
