Tragedy and things are going to be different for awhile, including airport security and other public functions tighter security! Problem is that multiculturalism is a major problem worldwide and needs addressing! There are people around the world that are rebelling against that, and if you read the main perpetrators manifesto, you will get a better picture of how some people are thinking! With respect, I don't think multiculturalism is the correct word to use. Multiculturalism is enlivening to a society. However, when people lose their tradition, culture and identity due to factors like globalisation which can promote economic and social disruption to a society it breeds intolerance. Hence, I think intolerance is a better word to use. 1

There are good and bad people in all countries obviously, but with the internet nowadays it is so easily educated or brainwashed by what is appearing on there. If someone is not happy with there life, they are often looking to change things and unfortunately and weak minded people at the time, can be easily radicalised and are promised to become a martyr! You can call it intolerance or what you want, but the reality is that we clearly live in troubled times and the tragedy today highlights that unfortunately.
