I have been watching Peter driving in the last 6 months. Used to be a very good driver, but seems way past his best. Thought Bugalugs tonight was a very good bet, but kept my money in my pocket because of driver.

Settled 3 deep, had ample room to poke thru inner in straight, but thought it best to stay in middle, not getting a run finishing 4th??

Maybe time to give up mate,

I backed the horse too, was a touch unlucky.  Can't blame Ferg still a very good driver

Maybe when Kates First was running, but he now makes poor decisions most races. You know how Richard Brosnan drove here until he was a joke, well sadly Peter is on same course quickly

Only thing unlucky, was because who was driving it. Could have drove a bus up inner, they showed head on shot

Yes totally agree, Peter Ferguson  doesn’t drive anywhere near as well as he used to, although that can be said for quite a few that have been driving for many years!

He doesn’t drive as much as he used to, and I think he trains greyhounds now, for some reason?

It was a terribly weak field tonight that Bugalugs was in, and should’ve run a place in that field on ability!

Didnt back it as I thought he would be 3 or 4 back on the fence, and nowadays you don’t see too many pushing off the fence at Cambridge for some reason?

True..  He was drawn to need a bit of  luck, but good  luck did come his way, just he never used it.

That's the way he has been driving for a while, possibly because he is not very often on the better chances. Just seems to have lost his mojo.He seems to drive like there is always next week. Look at his drive on accelare at Auckland the week before, as one of many recent examples.  His son is a far better now days and deserves more opportunities than he gets.

Looking at his UDR up until 2014 he was always over .2000 and been reducing since then and now so far this year .1300 so quite a difference

He does seem to drive Bugalugs on the rails all the time, and often not getting much of a go!!

Bound to win the odd race, he was probably trying to run a place

Peter driving fav Tiffany Rose in the last. Lay it, you watch, will be unlucky or given no chance to win.

To be fair, had every chance, even thou it worked hard early. I was happy to lay, and backed winner.

Good luck pete thou, hope it improves

Actually that horse bugalugs needs to be driven for luck, can't do any work at all.  Blame the horse not the driver

If he had made right decisions last 400m, its in the money.

Change drivers , give horse a chance.

He does seem to drive the horse the same way all the time..Looks to always position itself  back on the fence.  You know what to expect beforehand.  I guess he thinks its best driven that way.

Its only win came when it sat parked for the last 1600m.

Had every possible chance to win today, maybe one of those horses who always looks unlucky but when it finally gets its chance it still cannot win.
