Not the best of runs during the race - 3 wide.  Didn't race all that kindly in the straight.  They didn't run time.  Certainly didn't run up to favourite status.

if considered good enough to contest a G1 as a maiden  should have been able to miss the kick by five, travel 6 wide, get two checks in the straight run off and still win.   ordinary.

Correct.  But I think they have fucked her up mentally.  If you look at the horses she finished close to as a 2 year old she should be doing better.  Probabeel?

I agree with you she did not look like  ahappy horse today but would any one or any thing be happy if you had to put up with Rogie every day?

She has never looked like being a sprinter and should do better when she goes over more ground.

agree...BUT the horse is losing/lost confidence by the look of things, we know she has the ability to kick any maiden field...so they need to start again and that starts with a GOOD REST FROM RACING. Someone tell the owners/Rogie  LOL ...oh, hang on, she cost a lot at Karaka didn't she?

I don't think the owner is short of a bob or two  and the senior trainer merely supplements his pension.

The horse has only just kicked off again with some short races but she did not look that comfortable on the firmer footing.

Improved run with the VB's on....

Trudy was improving well along the rails and then ran into the back of the leader with no way out..always looking for longer..it's a RELIABLE MAN!

always looking for longer...is of course, right on Thomass... so why arent they doing the sane and sensible  thing ...ie avoiding the Spring 'Classics' and letting her GROW UP AND GROW STRONGER for the autumn middle-distance classics. IMO they are compromising a potentially very good galloper by being impatient and choosing the wrong races for her.

Lord only knows what Chris Waller would achieve with this horse.

You could be right Weas...but...

...these are Professional trainers with years of experience...bloods would be ok, they'd be happy with her 'looks'...

...and besides the Owner is not a well man and has invested heavily from his Lotto win...probably wants results sooner than later....and the Filly appears to be racing well looking for extra ground?

His prerogative?

What say you now Weas...still need a rest?

Looks like they've finally got the correct gear on...3rd time VB's, Ear Covers pre...2nd time at a Mile...waltzes in...faster time than other Miles by 3/5L winning by 4L easing down...

Will eat the Oaks distance and still green after only 12 starts...

...should be cherry ripe for the 2 Fillies races over Xmas at HQ...

The Lotto winner must be loving her now...

Maybe rogerson told the owner its my way or the highway after that foolish attempt at Hastings? Not sure she was as impressive as the winner of the 7th on the day...he carried 4kg more, came from last at the 600m, last 600 in 34.29 against her 34.96. She was about a 3rd of a second faster overall.

She'll run kinder without any head gear.
