Can't believe that Marlborough have lost their dates for next season, yet Nelson get to keep theirs.Would love to know the reason for Nelson being kept and Marlborough losing their dates, not that it will change anything, but sucks arse.

Cambridge 34 meetings, Auck 36? Wow Lots of meetings Cambridge, shit front runners track, not good for punting on with mostly lower class racing.
Auckland & Addington predictable nowadays, keep the lead until stablemate, brother, uncle or other relation comes around to plan race.
Ashburton gets less meetings than Oamaru, Methven get more than motukarara?? FFS, strange.

It's all very weird.they want to grow the product....by removing it's accessibility to so many regions.

Who would have thought just a few months ago the North Island would look like that.

The three tracks where I was introduced to harness racing have now all gone. Hutt park, Manawatu and Forbury. Good luck getting the next generation interested.

I can believe it. The track has been on borrowed time and now the reckoning is here. It might be sad but I don't care as I never attended a meeting there in past few years despite living in Blenheim. What will the club do now, sell the land? It would be worth plenty. It is sad for local trainers including, M Gill and Anne-Marie Best, but closure was inevitable. Nelson will now struggle to survive. I think it will be lucky to last another two or three years. I don't think many trainers will venture north just for two meetings especially now that Addington has increased it's dates five-fold.

given his track record anything is possible

Always on the money, you know that!

Dont bother with your pathetic effort of showing Mark Purdon with one of his 5 horses that he raced at Greymouth, and reckon that shows he was a big campaigner if horses there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
