Brodie
Willangus Lad running in race 5 tonight at Addington has cemented my thoughts that Southland trotting races are far inferior to Canterbury trotting races. Why the Bookies had the horse so short is hard to fathom when it has not been racing too much down south. Yes there is Chinese Whispers but most of the trotters down south would not be that competitive in Canterbury and that js why they remain mostly down south. Yes there is the odd trotter that goes good but is racing pretty average horses. You can see why The Williamson’s campaign down south!

the galah
willangus lad was poor, but thats the 3rd time its run at addington and its been poor every time. So i think its as much it doesn't travel or something like that. Nathan williamson horses southland form seems to hold up when he comes to addington. 2
Davis
I agree with Galah. I think Wilangus Lad is a reasonable trotter but he is not an Addington horse. He disappointed during the Cup Carnival and had no chance tonight in my opinion. N. Williamson's horses seem to race well everywhere but it's a big test for them tonight.
