Brodie
With the NZ Juniors champs starting tonight at Addington, you would think the TAB would be running a book on it wouldn’t you? Individuals and North vs.South! Let us on for what the punter wants for a change? How about starting them both at $1.85?

Think you might be right Brodster and it's more of an Individual competition, than a North v South one. (unless they in fact do have a prize for the winning team) which seems unlikely. The trot on Sunday has good form on the runners ! nearly all running places lately . will be a good race. great to see the juniors are trying to get some trotters to stay in gait as a test of their ability, (also a standing start today as well??) . both races could get quite messy? lol........., buts thems the breaks . I'm going John Morrison to Win as my pick. CHA CHA B seems to be going well and might bring John home in the 5th Heat on Sunday. Forbury cheering for his fav BenHope ? lol....hehehe who do you think can win?

Gamma, what I would say is that the individual winner will come from the South Island! The stupid thing about some of the Drivers Challenges is that some of the fixed Odds options are just not worth betting into, and you would be a mug punter if you did! Seriously, what is the chance of any half sensible punter betting into a driver winning 4 plus races as Addington in a night???????? Why the Bookies offer this option defies logic there are far better options that would attract money than that! There are several things that could be introduced and offered to get turnover up and interest in their product! It is if they do not give a stuff but just going through the motions! Surely it should be under the DRIVERS CHALLENGE?????? Surely, it is a SPECIAL, it is not a PREMIERSHIP!!!! Seriously stupid having it there where it can not be seen on the first screen!!! Defies logic! 1

Gammalite was on John Morrison at 12's and thought had won it too.!! stupid whip rules is what I'm blaming lol.... a couple of decents whacks on the bum and PRO SURFER wins by 1/2 length lol.... and if I smart like Brodie would of had a place bet as well lol.... 3
Brodie
The second heat was an appalling display by the young drivers, if that is the best they can offer, we are in trouble in the Junior ranks! No one moved and was a terrible example on display for young drivers wanting to win the championship! What on earth were they scared of by just sitting at the back and giving their horses no chance???? The South Island drivers are light years ahead on ability than the North Island! come on Juniors that was Very poor and hopefully they drive far better on Sunday!!!!!!! Meanwhile John Morrison 1-1 all the way with SHEEZA ARTIST at $3.90 / $1.80 Qld , so very happy now personally lol........

Jenabella, vesnina and skidaddle were the three who were in a position to make a from the back, but no doubt the drivers of jenabella and vesnina would have been told that both those horses are best driven as sit sprinters. And maybe skidaddle driver, who was following them didn't realise that, and simply didn't show much initiative. It probably wasn't as bad as it looked, just they probably showed a lack of confidence to go against the driving instructions given the way the race panned out. Vesnina paced roughly too, looks a difficult horse to drive to me. Played up at both starts and put in some rough steps in straight. The horse looks speedy but has a lot to learn.

With the exception of a few drivers, that is probably the worst junior drivers races I have seen, didn’t have a bet luckily

Also clinging on to 3rd with an outsider in Heat 4 , to hold out John Morrison into 4th with his drive, by 1/2 head. Those few points could be enough to win it from John ? both drivers are on a 10-1 shot in race 5 the final Heat on Sportsbet. thought ChaCha B would be 5-1 , so might have a small something on that. John does seem to have a great chance of taking the title now.
