Can someone explain - if masks are so effective at preventing infection how come your glasses fog up when wearing them?

Masks are only a prevention counter measure, better ones are ones with filters in them. , Governments worldwide just promoting them, because they are only good counter measures they have got, bar washing hands . Even better one, is why do disease researchers use negative pressure suits to study diseases and virus?

Mike Hosking just hosted little molly on NewstalkZB - Hosking is vaccine crazy and is very selective in the data he promotes.

However Molly said he was an epidemiology expert and that he predicts there will be only 30 cases today.

We should run a book on case numbers!

He also said "when he becomes Mayor unless you are vaccinated you won't be able to use any public services or attend any event in Auckland"!

So.. double that?

It's all good.  I've signed up to Ngati Pakeha and reading the official Covid site I can take my boat up the harbour and go fishing.

Quote: You are allowed to leave home to exercise Māori customary rights to fishing and food gathering if it is at an outdoor location in your local area that is easy to access (including by vehicle).

Asked his opinion on how the mayoral race was going Molly was quoted as saying" I am really really really ridiculously good looking for a West Coaster, am I not?"

Unlike some on here its good to see your not taking the above too seriously. Nor i suspect the cartoon. Good to see Whyisit saw the funny side of the post.

The viaduct is deadly. It intersects train, bus, ferry and auto transients. Most businesses there creamed windfalls because of the government subsidy of Americas Cup. How many repayed the wage subsidy that kept them earning millions. Hardly surprising the abusers bar is caught up in the outbreak. All these downtown outfits need to be closed for at least a year. One case there can spread overnight to all parts of Auckland.

So you think telling the truth about who was in his bar was not a good move Sunnyboy

LOL telling the truth or ego showboating?  What was he hoping to achieve by publicly announcing that the All Blacks were there during the period of interest?  Assuming of course that they were actually there.

Dear me, must be having another mental moment. What happens Leo if someone catches Covid and blame you and Government. Because was not on the list uhm... more business reputation damage and goodwill damage? by chance? https://www.newshub.co.nz/home/new-zealand/2021/08/headquarters-owner-leo-molloy-lays-into-labour-ministry-of-health-after-bar-revealed-as-location-of-interest.html?cid=soc1%3Anewshubfb&fbclid=IwAR2nSMwpp4zCUcL3uaCZe9jNKXchbtiz7u742Up3oUx6FB5uTH-pCI2G2eQ

6.00pm Controversial Viaduct bar visited by positive case

The NZ Herald has reported that Headquarters Bar on Auckland’s Viaduct, owned by controversial bar owner Leo Molloy, was visited by a recent positive Covid-19 case on August 14. Molloy confirmed that over 30 staff had been working on the evening in question,

Curious,

If the bar became a place of interest prior to your posting the article (24Aug) how come it only appeared on the official list yesterday.

Something doesn't smell right. Maybe Molloy went to lawyers to stymy getting on the list.
