Yes about Norm Holland. He and Noel McCrutcheon were probably the last of the ex Jockey's that played a hard but fair game as stipes. How many stipes do you see in the parade ring today? As ex-Jockey's they understood how to read a race and it took a smart Jockey to put one across them.

Same, she arrived in a white trouser suit, figure hugging, I knew it was her, I think part of my tongue is still stuck to the tarseal there. 1

Classic horse person in that regard. They talk better to horses than us humans. Beautiful hands with a horse and a kind rider. My horse didn't respond to every rider (had 25 different riders!) but she did to Lee. Threw Michael Walker! Woops there are clues in there! I was in awe of him, one day I followed the FBI down to the tie ups, they had one in each hand, Super, Schillaci, Subbie, Naturalism, Tawriffic, Mannerism, Pontormo, Gatherneaux, Azzurro, Durbridge, a stablehand had two.......with due respect to Chris W he will never know what it's like to have quality like that in your back yard, and that's where that lot lived......those days will never be replicated........they were awesome......
