Chief Stipe
Personally I think the Roc De Cambes require a bit of time and a wet track. A 3yr old filly starting on Sunday on the Sunshine Coast might be worth a look. Rising 4yr old and a Soft track. Race 1 Sunshine Coast | Sunshine Coast Turf Club | 12.25PM VILI'S FAMILY BAKERY Maiden Handicap 1000m MDN Mychyna (NZ).

Hey Joe , good to see you back posting . I drop in occasionally to see what's happening but the place has become like a grave yard since we were last posting , and i see the same undertaker is still in attendance , acting like a miserable fecking Arkwright , still argumentative and disagreeable , and scaring all the children . At least Ronnie Barker made you laugh . Are you going to stick around ? if you are might look in more often , although we might be talking to ourselves , maybe Pam and Huey will join in more as well , how about it Pam and Huey . Pleased i looked in and perhaps you can breath some life back into the ailing site . Cheers mate .
Joe Bloggs
LOL, I'll stick around as long as the medication and shock treatment keeps working NM, If only for the sake of the good buggers on here, I can cope with the drugs, the voltage is hard to cop, thankfully they put a rubber stopper in my mouth to bite on. ,,, and to be truthful, my hairs grown back and you can't see any sign at all of the lobotomy scar, so the chicks still dig me. See ya round, like a wheel...... 3

Are you suggesting The Oaks Stud marketing and promotion wasn't up to scratch? Nothing to do with his progeny? Incidentally, not being a thoroughbred breeding expert like some, has there been a Japanese Stallion that has had progeny perform well in NZ? Maybe this one might make it. https://www.richhillstud.co.nz/stallions/satono-aladdin
Joe Bloggs
Ah, but he is NZ bred and sold to Japan, he was the best horse in Japan in 2007, Like Iffraaj and Showcasing he was overlooked by NZ breeders, he's a stunning looking fella and a great pedigree, if he got black type mares I have no doubt he could have been anything, Not Dick Karaman's fault. By a USA bred sire in Red Ransom and out of an Irish mare Fairy Lights. Have there been many Japanese race track performing stallions to make it in NZ? Genuine question as I don't know. Shinko King was one that did very well here. An upgrader who didn't need black type mares. My Grp3 winner being an example.

Hi Joe , you are correct , RdC is a glorious looking horse with performance to match , unfortunately for him , as you know stallions can be quickly labeled , and he was , going to leave slow maturing horses , which he does . But he is one of those rare stallions , he allows the mare some say in what the progeny are going to be , so you breed a slow maturing staying mare , that's what you get , put a speed mare to him the progeny has some speed . As with everything it's not an exact science . Unfortunately it was too late for him commercially when people started waking up to him , i'm sure Williams was advocating him as a broad spectrum stallion when he started , but then all studs say it , in this case he was right , but all too late . A couple of posts each now , does that mean we're dating ? Cheers .

Agree with you on all the above, except the dating, I'm too old for you and the same sex, and live KM3,000 from your Dude ranch, but then again, I know in NZ the sheep get nervous on pay night, so date night Kiwi style has several different connotations......I do think ESP has surfaced here though, shares in BOAY have gone through the roof apparently, the reemergence of two intellectuals with gravitas has stirred the stockholders into action.....the Chief must be chuffed. 1

Joe Bloggs
Hope you got on NM, 2-40 into 1-40 in places, huge day for the Payne stable, I think 5 winners from 7 ........Rock Up maybe not as good as his full bro Gate Stop, but barring injury he'll win plenty for Jenny and Price Bloodstock.

Chief Stipe
I had a better time backing the Tavistock's. Queensland Derby plus 3 at Mildura. They come into their own at this time of year. Tavistock will be missed a lot longer than RdC.
Joe Bloggs
Ah Chief, Chief, Chief, what can I say, the mighty Gate Crash, Rock Up's full bro won [impressively] at Sandown earlier, out to 4-20.......GC could win a major in the Spring, he's a mighty talent, Roc de Cambes just keeps on keeping on. Great judge, Jenny from the paddock, reaping huge rewards with Patrick Payne. Thats 2 full bros winning in OZ within a few days of each other.......outstanding.

He is to blame for everything , i called him the undertaker the other day , gave him too much credit there , he hasn't got that much humour in him . But if he was an undertaker i'm sure even the dead would get up and leave the room .

Bit of a site for Zombies ya reckon lol.... hahahaha..... now thats funny lol. also mean same as this , I just had 50 on MARCOLT at 10-1, because you guys were talking Pat Payne runners , and it just ran 2nd to Vituvius at Sandown (who i had riding on the quaddie final leg a month ago for a huge collect, when beaten a head by Sir Davy). Vitruvius back from the dead to haunt me again....lol. wish he had an undertaker hahahe
