In 2022 they are $9000

In 1992 at the Marlborough HRC they were $4000

We aren't talking about the Fillies Heat

 If the stake money for Blenheim races in 1992 was only $4000 it was because You  were involved with the Club!

Stakes for supporting racing at Addington etc, was a helluva lot more than that.

Convenient you mentioned 1992 when stakes dropped!!!!!!

I chose 1992, as did another Poster, because it was 30 years (3 decades in a way) ago

in 2002 they were $4500 and I wasn’t involved with the Club

Average stakes in 1992 and 2002 were less than $9000
