Not sure what you mean, but successful he is with the smarts to boot ... very successful international operator ... recognized leader in his specialist field ... to be applauded

Not sure we are talking about the same person , you obviously haven't set the bar high when assessing a persons level of smarts and success .

I have to accept you know or should know this Act back to front but $100 a win you don't

The very successful businessman running the other site knows the Act well as evidenced

Oh how very very wrong you are!!  Not only are you talking garbage about Posts vs Response but you clearly have no idea how the Act works.  For your information I have had many practical experiences dealing with the HDCA.  Ironically many of those because of the efforts of the Comic Dog's forum co-owner.  Those experiences have involved dealing with many of the upper echelons of racing - I haven't needed to or have any desire to elaborate on those dealings.

The facts are that BOAY has not limited free speech and has not yet fallen foul of the HDCA.  The other site quickly closes or hides things to avoid any issue at all as was evident over your BS regarding the Coroners Act.

Back to the Topic.

Should a racing car driver be charged with manslaughter for clipping the wheel of another driver who then dies from the subsequent accident?

Bearing in mind that these types of incidents happen all the time without serious consequences in sports that are inherently dangerous.

Should we race the horses in lanes?

Nah , their not good enough even with lines to follow , they would have to put rails up between each lane to ensure safety .

C'mon Turny , you give me a fake news for this "post", It's not news buddy , it's an opinion .

Now don't start the same shit with me on this , opinion or news , i wasn't passing on information , i was giving an opinion .

Bad enough you can't understand that when you reply to me on this forum it is a post .

  • 2 weeks later...

I am absolutely shocked at what I'm reading.

e.g. https://racingintegrityboard.org.nz/decisions/cambridge-jc-3-august-2022-r4-sam-weatherley/

Weatherley states that he was riding his sisters horse the inference being he needed to win at all costs. How can it be careless when there is so much pressure to win???????

I note that earlier on the very day the tragedy occurred he was also suspended for a similar offence. Yet there are "mates" such as Bruce Marsh  and George Simon giving the opinion there was nothing wrong with Weatherley's tactics.

This is outrageous.
