Richie
I see Michael House has a few in today that have opened up very hot favourites,is it just me or does anybody else think that his horses struggle against what is basically Canterbury fields. and cant see why they so short.Never mind gives us a chance to make some decent money on others. R2 Billie Jean for Jack Harrington has been unlucky on raceday so far after some ok trial/workout form.Stepping away could be its problem though Stablemates Cuckoo Nest and Firenze should respectively win R1 and R6.Apparently,according to my spys Cuckoo Nest had a good excuse for appearing to stop last 300m last week, although I haven't heard what it is and just looked beaten fair and square to me,but will give another chance R9 Locksmith should win again if it can step from the ace. Newmarket
I like billie jean too Richie. Mickey jay R1, Christmas Toyboy R7 & Boomer Bailey R8. When you look at that Kurow cup field, makes the day a little depressing.

I remember the days ,not that long ago, when there would be 7 or 8 cup candidates in the Kurow cup.I would say only Don Domingo and maybe Forgotten Highway any chance of running in this years cup

Happy Sunrise
Stella Success at 3 50 FF for the place in Race 9. Going back to the Forbury well of success ? Last start 3rd to Majestic Moment is solid reading at Addington and a bit of a drop in class perhaps today. I think she might start stringing some placings together.

You are dead correct in regards to the Micharl House runners Richie. They perform at Manawatu far better than Canterbury and there have already been money to be made betting against them. ThinknStunnin Cullen is major unders in the last at $2 on what it has shown this time in, hopefully no egg on the face as I am always on the money. Alexy looks the place bet in that with Ricky on and it has been going good races and got good draw! Has shortened up a bit but still looks ok at $2. I agree with Stunin Love ? See it 1.50 tote. I wouldn't be backing it on either option at that price despite being an awful field.

It did win well when it did win at Addington awhile back, but wasn’t that impressive in its trial or workout at Rangiora, or,its run firstup down south! Maybe they should gave dropped the Kurow Cup name from race, and called it the battlers handicap

Stunin Luck went awful as I didn’t rate it much as it hadn’t been going good enough to be a $2 shit. Someone lost a packet on the tote on it as well as it was paying even less than that for most of the day. Alexy went alright as well and looked value at $2.50 a place Fixed on opening, with Ricky in the cart. 1
