Good to see tappys lad go a nice race to, go the kiwis

Pity it didn't run second, I would have had the quinella, flashed home.

It has been one of the worst Queensland carnivals I can remember for NZ trained horses, I can hardly remember a win.

Good picking.  I guess you won't be booking a couple of mares in any time soon though.

Nope.  Part of the reason his fee is so high is that in his first two seasons, he appeared to be sub-fertile.  So he only has very small books.

Yes well found and jolly well done. I had the second horse in a boxed Q, tfa and 1st 4 and had so ignored the winner in my albeit brief study (I treat the cup more as a lottery so put the bets on early afternoon) that I briefly wondered if the commentator had got the name wrong. Certainly he continued to improve on a good but well beaten run in the Bendigo cup whilst the winner of that race, Sea King, got the tide forecast completely wrong. Great exciting finish and reacting to another post re those of you that could not get bets on I concur with your sentiments . It is simply not good enough that it happened at all but to pretend 'there is no problem' humbug.

Why does Holy Ravioli offer a fake news reaction?  The deeds of the horse were pointed out more than 12 months ago.

That's @holy ravioli for you.  He is probably very distraught at the moment with the Left getting a hammering in the USA.

As for Knight's Choice I started following the horse when he strung some very good wins together in Queensland.  It was mentioned at the time by Laxon that he was being aimed for the MC.

I thought his form was off this season until I read the detail that he liked a Good track.  He got that in his lead up run and he couldn't get a run until late when he finished on strongly.
