  1. If I can be so bold to say that you have one agenda and that is to close down Greyhound Racing in NZ. Correct?
  2. What did you expect? That they'd reinvent the wheel or reuse the software they already own?
  3. Geez...did they actually involve any customer testing? Once again the font is bloody hard to see!! Maybe Specsavers is the new Trackside/TAB sponsor? The extra information looks good but damn hard to read. Waiting for the next NZ racing to see if the apprentice claim stays on screen rather than disappearing!
  4. Possibly. The stream across the data network.
  5. I'm doing really well! Picked all the winners at Morphetville so far...oops they're replays!
  6. Bonus bets in all the accounts do you think? Cardinal rule in an IT project - never, ever, ever go live if you can't guarantee customer service. Hence test test test. I'm guessing they are pressing on instead of rolling back.
  7. Hint: Had your caregivers passed away?
  8. Every IT project I was involved in was completed on time and with no disruption to customers. The latter being the primary goal.
  9. Over an hour late now... Mind not as bad yet as Melbourne Cup Day...at least no NZ racing on.
  10. I know exactly who you are. So why don't you declare the association you align to? I'll give @Yankiwi one point and that is he is actually interested in Greyhound Racing continuing.
  11. Did you read my post and the time I posted it? I posted it well before the upgrade start time. So WHAT BASIC KNOWLEDGE DO I LACK? Oh and by the way if you had read the notices as you infer you have you'd know that the upgrade is so far running 30 minutes late.
  12. That's because I'm sure not many pay any attention to your posts. Bearing in my of course that it isn't the first time you have used the derivative of you avatar name on BOAY. You have no idea what my view of greyhound trainers nor does anyone else. Which is the reason for your avatar name - you have an agenda. Quite frankly I'm ambivalent to Greyhound racing.
  13. Was that to replace the one you had to eat?
  14. I don't have a problem with it however it gives a clear indication of what your real views are. It is clear how you view all Greyhound trainers so why anyone take your point of view seriously?
  15. Well you do open yourself up to it by calling yourself Seeyounexttuesdaytrainers and in the process declaring your position on the industry. Do you class all trainers in that Seeyounexttuesday category?
  16. Well given my personal experience yesterday I'm not hopeful. Interesting reaction from a couple of friends who said "oh well they must have done a live smoke test"! Unbelievable that any company can do that. I said to one person - would you put customers on a new train and track without fully testing?
  17. None of that matters if you don't have a fair and safe track to race on, a fair Handicap system, jockeys capable of riding your horse to its merits and of course enough horses to race for these new glorious Stakes. I'm picking we will be running a fair few low in number races next season. Happening now in the South and CD.
  18. Perhaps but his run wasn't out of his range of performances. Get over it. Nothing to see here. If there was he would have paid $15 to 1 not $150.
  19. Imperatriz to go under hammer with $5 million record in sights Star mare Imperatriz will go up for public auction at the Gold Coast, Magic Millions has confirmed. The hammer will be raised for rights on the 10-time Group 1-winner on Tuesday, May 28 as part of the Magic Millions National Broodmare Sale. She is set to break the record for the most expensive mare sold in Australia, which is $5 million for Milanova in 2008. "There is no doubt Imperatriz will attract global interest and will be the headline act of the auction calendar internationally," Te Akau principal David Ellis said. "Currently rated the world's best mare, her outstanding achievements speak volumes about her exceptional talent and tenacity on the track. "She won more Group 1 races than any other horse world-wide in 2023, solidifying her status as one of the greatest race mares of recent decades. READ | ‘No words': J-Mac in awe of Romantic Warrior after QEII Cup win "Imperatriz will go under the hammer where her fairytale career began. I remember when I first inspected her in the Bhima Thoroughbreds' draft. I was instantly taken with her, so in many ways, this is a fitting finale to a stellar career. There is no doubt that she is a rare and valuable gem." READ | Monday Racebook: Horses to follow from Caulfield Saturday Having already earned her connections close to $7m in prizemoney on the track, Imperatriz is set to fetch another fat cheque for Te Akau. But if you're hoping to catch a glimpse of her in the Sunshine State, Imperatriz herself won't be in attendance. She'll be back home at Te Akau Stud while the bidding kicks off on the Gold Coast.
  20. About time they talked to their customers. But I guess you need to educate them on who they are. The CJC must be either bleeding money on AWT maintenance or neglecting something else.
  21. No race time for Race 1 at Ruakaka on Wednesday.
  22. It's a dumb promotuon and a waste of Stake money. I'll send you some rye grass and brown top seed to sow on the AWT.
