  1. Obviously you were an only child.
  2. I'll keep pointing out your analysis is flawed. You don't attempt to eliminate bias. From my observation IF dogs are hitting the running rail it isn't the rail or the lure it is more likely the camber of the track or the way it is groomed. To eliminate that you need to do an analysis on those dogs that had soft tissue injuries that DIDN'T hit the rail and compare with other tracks.
  3. Probably was and unlike yourself no doubt the stable systems have improved and the individual has learnt something from their error. However back to the topic - Tokyo Tycoon was easily the best 2 yr old in NZ last season. The debate on Group pattern and Group status is valid. But the demise of Group status in New Zealand relates not to whether the horse that wins a category won a Group 1 but the lack of quality in those Group races. The HOTY awards are just gongs - nothing more. Any serious thoroughbred breeder or student of the game would look at the status of the Group wins and the individual rating of the horses not the gong. Tokyo Tycoons performance in the Karaka Million was exceptional.
  4. Dickhead. You know full well it was ruled by the Feds an error in administration by a staff member.
  5. You really are an election novice. ACT are down 2% not 5%. Margin of error 3.1%. National nearly 41%. I don't think even Borrow Hope Robertson has a big enough checkbook to buy coalition partners not that there is enough votes even with Winnie.
  6. You're getting repetitive Charles. Why don't you try waving a placade on course?
  7. Come on answerr the question. Not that it matters Labour are dropping out of the race really quick. 26% in today's poll. Must be a bit morbid at the election HQ Pasta. How are the group hugs?
  8. Don't you understand why? There's over $150 billion of cash sloshing around in the system driving inflation. As for your bogus unemployment figures what definition are you going to come up with now to keep them appear down? Bit like your Net Debt figure. I still haven't seen an answer to my question regarding SOE and QUANGO debt.
  9. I'm sure the FEDS or the trainers have taken hair samples to test. The metabolites can be found up to six months. Formestane can occur endogenously in some mammals including humans and bovine. BTW 4-Hydroxytestosterone is a metabolite of Formestane.
  10. It's not the same. You are assigning guilty to the Trainer who may or may not have administered the drug. I would say it was very very rare for a driver have been administered alcohol without them knowing! Try and get it into New Zealand or Australia illegally. Cites (links please). You've contradicted yourself.
  11. No Deal: Imperatriz team shun Everest offers Imperatriz will stay in Victoria for the spring. Picture: Vince Caligiuri—Getty Images. By Trenton Akers 12:02pm • 11 September 2023 0 Comments Kiwi super sprinter Imperatriz will stay in Victoria after connections knocked back offers for The Everest following her monster win in the Group 2 McEwen Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday. Te Akau racing boss David Ellis confirmed the mare would head to the Group 1 Moir Stakes (1000m) later this month, after getting bombarded with offers from Everest slot holders over the weekend. Ellis said the motivation for staying in Melbourne was simple. "We haven't been offered a deal that we think reflects her ability in The Everest, so we will keep her in Melbourne," he told Racenet. "She has won good races right-handed, but I think she is a fraction better left-handed. "The final day at Flemington (Group 1 Champions Spring) is her goal, it is a $3m race and you don't have to split it with anyone. Imperatriz will have her next two starts in Group 1 company at Moonee Valley. Picture: Vince Caligiuri — Getty Images. "We look at every horse as an individual and we think it is the right thing to do with Imperatriz. "We couldn't have asked for a better start to the campaign, Ben Gleeson is doing an incredible job for us and the staff there are high quality, it is exciting." The five-time Group 1 winner is a raging hot $2.25 favourite to win the Moir and is $2.75 to win the Manikato, both races also at Moonee Valley. While fellow Kiwi Mick Dee was in the saddle for her demolition job on Saturday, a jockey change is looking likely, with champion hoop Opie Bosson set to make the trip to Melbourne. "Opie has the first choice to ride her, but if he can't for whatever reason, we would love to have Mick Dee on again," Ellis said.
  12. Well the alternatives haven't worked under Borrow and Hope Robertson. God help the country if we don't get rid of this mob.
  13. That's what the Feds decided. No trainer in their right mind would think they'd get away with it.
  14. Could a dog that pulls a gracillus lose its balance and hit the rail?
  15. There is nothing in the rules to say it had to win a Grp 1. 45 voted for Tokyo Tycoon. Unbeaten in 5 - sure unfortunately disqualified from one. Won its races easily. The Karaka Million win was incredible. How it got off the ground to win like this:
  16. But dogs that don't hit the rail get injured. Does the dog that hits the rail get injured before, when or after it hits the rail?
  17. That's the inference from your stance on these positives. You've automatically assumed guilt. If any advantage was to be gained in terms of horse development then they would have had to have had multiple doses and avoided detection over a long period of time. It may have been used topically as a cream to assist in muscle injury repair. But that is hardly performance enhancing. It has been illegal since 2014 the only way to obtain it would be by very clandestine means using a black market. Why do that when the drug is easily testable? As for @Gammalite assertion that a one off treatment could induce a change in mental attitude the drug has a half life of 4 days so to avoid detection you wouod have to dose the horse at least a week out from competition. Hardly likely in those circumstances to induce the desired reaction. With modern testing techniques anabolic steroids can be detected a month or more after the last use. Given the race patterns of the horses involved it seems odd that other positives weren't produced. If there was widespread abuse why didn't other horses in the respective stables produce positives? Again you are assuming guilt. As I've said before the use would have had have been over a prolonged period of time to increase lean muscle mass. The drug in question isn't the most effective one at achieving that outcome.
  18. Went too early. That's the lesson from the McEwen for both Giga Kick and Imperatriz.
  19. That's why your analysis is flawed. Means nothing.
  20. Based on these sectionals Craig Williams shouldn't beat himself up that much. Although even JMac makes the same mistake.
  21. Maybe we are the similar then - applaud excellence rather than promote mediocrity. All that young blood at Te Akau seems to be working!
  22. So it's not the running rail or hitting it? Back to the drawing board @Yankiwi
