    Wall of shame

So as a handler, I can go to Wanganui and join the Cole bubble to help them for Tuesdays race meet and then return again for Wednesdays race meet and join the McInerney bubble to help them for the day? I sure the virus will like those arrangements as the lock-down has severely hampered its life expectancy.

Agree, bubble nonsense. However, GRNZ has put forward plans retaining it to Worksafe and therefore need to follow it to the letter. If it's not adhered to, the complaint line will be ringing off the hook and the anti's will like the outcome of that much more than the participants will.

When you "go to work" at the race track, who is your employer? Public/private trainer 'a' is self employed and in their own bubble. If trainer 'a' helps trainer 'b' by boxing/catching a trainer 'b' dog, then trainer 'a' is outside their bubble.
  4. I still can't comprehend how it used to be an unsafe practice to run back to the catching area from the 375m starting boxes on a race day prior to lock-down and it now it has been mandated to do so. How has Covid now made it now safe? Is it more GRNZ magic similar to their make believe bubble thingy or more likely a glaring example of Mr Death not having a clue as to what he is doing? That'd help to explain the made up 603m distance at Cambridge as well.

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/north-island/news/article.cfm?c_id=1503932&objectid=12326065 At alert level 3, people must stay within their immediate household bubble, but can expand this to reconnect with close family / whānau, or bring in caregivers, or support isolated people.

    Wall of shame

I don't know what GRNZ's make believe bubble is all about, but this is the Crown's slightly extended bubble. https://covid19.govt.nz/individuals-and-households/health-and-wellbeing/staying-at-home-and-self-isolation/#exceptions-to-the-1-household-bubble-at-alert-level-3 Alert Level 3 is still about stopping movement and breaking the chain. Unfortunately, having close contact with anyone outside your current or slightly extended household bubble presents some risk. There are some small exemptions to who may be able to have different bubble arrangements. If you are part of a shared household group, for example if you have shared custody of your children and they have been moving between households in the same community, this can continue at Alert Level 3. If you live alone, you can join up with another person living alone, or you can join a small household. You must live in the same neighbourhood, and not interact with anyone else. You cannot join more than one household bubble. If your bubble is unsafe, you can leave immediately to seek help. Talk to a trusted neighbour or friend and then call the police or Women’s Refuge.
  7. Seems Covid-19 has had some very differing effects for Cambridge. Prior to CV19, it wasn't safe for those who boxed dogs in a 375m race to run back to the catching area, but now with the CV19 threat ongoing it is safe? https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/May 2020/Cambridge_Protocols Final.pdf BOXING: 4 LINES OF 2 DOGS Box First Dogs will continue to Box First Four line model for loading: 1 & 5 boxed first, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8. 375m Handlers to head to Catching Area as soon as they have loaded their dog. 457m & 603m Handlers to leave the starting area as soon as they have loaded their dog. Box lids to be disinfected after the race. It also appears Cambridge has done away with the 650m distance, giving way to 603m races... https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/WAI/clubs-and-venue-detail.aspx TRACK DISTANCESRacing is conducted for all grades over 375m, 457m, 630m, 747m and 457 (h). Who's going to get the boxes off the track after the start before the dogs come around if the handlers have to leave the starting area after loading their dog? Who writes these things and who proof reads them?
  8. I thought this was new and interesting. https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/May 2020/VET STAND DOWNS (1).pdf Race Falls Greyhound loses footing entirely and rolls, slides or somersaults 5 Days irrespective of post-race examination Anyways, three new policies that will be getting some peoples attention. https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2530/New-Stand-Down-Times-and-Policies

  10. Morepork has informed of some devious activity at Wanganui trails. Team Cole was aided with the help of at least a couple of other trainers. Approval from Worksafe has been reported by GRNZ as follows ~ "This will see greyhounds return to trials this week, but under strict new protocols that will limit members from one trainer's bubble only to be on track at one time." https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2527/Approval-to-Resume-Trials-and-Racing RIU were present at the trials and did nothing about it. I suppose they're not concerned with Crown law.
  11. I believe you meant to say ~ Credit where credits due, grnz probably took the best option available to help maintain one short term.
  12. Disregarding reserves 12 races x 8 dogs = 96 entrants. Of the 96 entrants, 43 Cole dogs or 45% of all entrants. Well done GRNZ board. Well done Glenda. Did you forget that Brendon is still up on an animal cruelty charge? You seemed to have forgotten this when you overturned his warning off. Why does Rendle still have so much influence on your poor decision making? Are you lot in his back pocket too? Drain the swamp.
  13. Back to business as normal'ish. Effing joke. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14015/127072/field-detail.aspx Race #3 - 6 from Cole plus both reserves. Race #5 - 5 from Cole and both reserves. Race #7 - 6 from Cole plus both reserves. Race #9 - 5 from Cole and both reserves. Race #11 - 6 from Cole.
  14. So Cole is to be allowed back in... Here's a few things to think about how he probably got there... Glenda used to chair the RIU. Hannan was/is a Lawyer. Wouldn't you think those two, if any, would at least try to uphold integrity within the code? Sounds to me like Rendle is hard at work somewhere in the background pulling strings trying to cover the tracks of his #1 trainer wannabe. Maybe it's time to finally watch Brokeback Mountain next Tuesday instead of the Wanganui race meet. The actions of the two will seem similar, but at least with the movie, there wont be 15 minutes between the disgusting bits.
  15. A link might work better? https://www.grnz.co.nz/News/2529/Resumption-of-Racing-Stake-Levels-Through-the-to-End-of-the-2019-2020-Season
  16. Better dust off the cowboy hat... Noms open for Addington and Wanganui for meets next Tuesday. Let's find out how many blind faith followers GRNZ has that nominate their dogs, with no idea how much money they will be racing for, if any.
  17. Has anyone been near Addington in the last couple of days? Morepork claims they have had box trials. RITA claims only hand slips are allowed. https://www.rita.org.nz/new-zealand-racing-prepares-resume While good progress has been made, officials are still finalising Greyhound Racing NZ's (GRNZ) approval for participants to prepare for handslip trials from Tuesday, and confirmation of these protocols is expected to be confirmed early next week. Sure hope the Morepork has got this one wrong as I'd hate to think were breaching the new protocols already.
  18. Morepork's been back to the window and has told me to expect to see that familiar cowboy hat and gold chain around the traps again, compliments of a very dysfunctional GRNZ board. Just goes to show you who is really running the sport. Rendle's master plan is still intact. https://twitter.com/rendle_craig?lang=en
  19. Not only doesn't it make sense, it's against a GRNZ rule. 62.1 Any person (including an Official) commits an offence if he/she: (d) being an Owner, Trainer, Handler or person having Official duties in relation to Greyhound racing, makes a false or misleading statement in relation to an investigation, examination, test or inquiry, or makes or causes to be made a falsification in a document in connection with Greyhound racing or the registration of a Greyhound; So not only has the person who listed race meetings results that never took place on their website breached a GRNZ rule, the person (if any) who instructed that person to do so is in breach of the same rule.
  20. Odd... Looks like someone might have been playing around where they probably shouldn't have been. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/results.aspx
  21. These sorts of numbers make perfect sense to those who blindly follow any leadership. It seems under the MOH's reporting standard a probable case that has resolved was a covid case but a probable case that has not yet been resolved isn't one. Smoke and mirror in an attempt to show that they are doing much better than they actually have.

You can address someone in anyway that you're both comfortable with (ie: nickname). However, it's not that way it works when you sign a legal document. Legally on the dotted line, she can't be an AHERN in some area's of her life (company director or teacher) and a COLE (GRNZ registered trainer). That is fraud.
  23. Spot on CS. The take from the responsible and give to the irresponsible crowd running parliament have no idea how well CV19 has been contained in the country. Who's to say anyone's not home a dry cough and hasn't put their hand up to be tested? The same sort of person that's about to head up to the dairy to pick up some tobacco, filters and papers?

They who is the person? Is it Lisa Jane AHERN or Lisa Jane COLE? A IRD number can only be issued to one person, not more than one alias. Same goes for a company director. Lisa Jane AHERN can't run the company that Lisa Jane COLE is the trainer of, if they are both the same person. That would be deceitful and possibly fraud.

There is some form of a piss take indeed going on. It seems the companies director is someone that doesn't exist any longer! The companies register has someone named as "Lisa Jane AHERN" is the sole director of the company. https://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/2122986?backurl=H4sIAAAAAAAAAC2LMQrDMBAEf6PGhV8gQqo0LgL2Bza6wzmwTsrpFPDvI0y62WFnrti5zankCpVBjWHpfcuFODaHEoyCn5Ujq4uPS%2FjEl%2ByTS%2BZJ1NkULkVxBNAXmpieUD6iW%2BdwRec2%2Bhbvy%2FLfq8N7e1jp9dI%2FG%2FTxK4YAAAA%3D In 2015, the company went through the effort of changing the Particulars Of Director, by adding a zip code to the register, yet no change in surname to this day. http://app.companiesoffice.govt.nz/companies/app/ui/pages/companies/2122986/21797754/entityFilingRequirement?backurl=%2Fcompanies%2Fapp%2Fui%2Fpages%2Fcompanies%2F2122986%2Fdocuments%3Fbackurl%3DH4sIAAAAAAAAAC2LMQrDMBAEf6PGhV8gQqo0LgL2Bza6wzmwTsrpFPDvI0y62WFnrti5zankCpVBjWHpfcuFODaHEoyCn5Ujq4uPS%2FjEl%2ByTS%2BZJ1NkULkVxBNAXmpieUD6iW%2BdwRec2%2Bhbvy%2FLfq8N7e1jp9dI%2FG%2FTxK4YAAAA%3D So as of this morning, the sole directory remains "Lisa Jane AHERN" When was that "wedding" supposed to have taken place?
