Maybe INCA investigated the wrong lot of people!

I've just seen a preview for the TV1 Sunday show, 7:30 PM this coming this Sunday. Greyhounds in what appeared to be a negative spotlight. Saw images of Glenda & our old mate Aaron Cross being interviewed....

Did their vehicle have a GPS tracker in it? Truck drivers would know all about these. They monitor speed while traveling including the speed of ZERO, for how long and where. How'd trusting the visitors to self isolate upon arrival go in the beginning? There is a raging worldwide pandemic out there, which NZ freed itself from even after all of the Governments early mistakes. What'd they do after the TEAM cleaned it up for them?
-
Harsh, Yes. The perceived needs of 2 outweighed the needs of 4,999,998 others in Cindy's crowds eyes. If it was that important for the visit, why not bring the dying relative to the lock-down hotel? That would be mitigating the risk to the TEAM.

The team of 4,999,998 & the selfishness of 2.

In the interview, he self proclaims that his history shows he doesn't stick around as a CEO for more than two or three years. I personally think he'd be better off trying to revive VCR/DVD rental stores in NZ. Failure there would have much less of a consequence to the overall NZ economy and too as many peoples current livelihoods.

Remember the extra $25/week benefit (that we'll never see disappear) that was one of the first handouts? They chose to do that because "they were the one that would get the economy rolling again". Therefore, normally working people would not spend it (if they had got it) and would have just saved it... That extra $25 got the economy going for the gangs (drugs) & the bottle stores in MOST cases. Their kids will still be getting the free breakfast & lunch from school. Jacinda & the Labour party take from the responsible and give to the irresponsible. That goes against everything they taught me in school. I was taught that you have to better yourself and achieve things in life to get ahead. Not the case with Cindy & the like in charge. Do NZ universities offer courses in being a loser to get ahead? If they do, they'll surely be government funded...

An idea for the TAB when the second Covid wave strikes & we go back in to lockdown.

What about the marbles endurance? Lap after lap and they don't seem to even get tired. Incredible really.

Has the TAB got ahold of this yet? Training fees for the owners would be next to nothing...

Back when I was one of their customers one of the biggest gripes I had was withdrawing funds. Living in Rotorua, I used to cringe having to walk into the local TAB, stand at the counter getting handed heaps of cash after it was counted out in the open for all to see, then walking out of the joint to the bank to deposit the cash. Yes I once was a lower tier "elite" customer of theirs. I went on and on with my account reps (yes I had three different ones during my shortish stay as their customer because they kept leaving the TAB) to get something done about it. Nothing ever happened. My turnover began to dwindle with them until I got basically got an email from them saying that if I didn't increase my turnover, they would be dropping me out of the "elite" program. I told them straight away to go ahead and drop me from it, which then did rather quickly. Once demoted, I sent them one final email requesting they close my account, which they weren't willing to do, as I still had 70 cents in the account. They informed me that they couldn't close the account until I withdrew the final 70 cents. What they did do was "suspend" my account and I believe is still under that restraint. So to this day I'll still be a 70 cent liability on their books. The liability for them is worth far more to me than the 70 cents are. ?

$2,000 x 1,000 = $2,000.000.00 Brodie sounding confident... lol

I've spotted the rule. 85. DUTIES OF PERSONS KEEPING GREYHOUNDS 85.6 A Licenced Person must at all times comply with the provisions of the Dog Control Act 1996 and the Animal Welfare Act 1999. That said, I don't believe you'd ever see GRNZ or the RIU investigate/enforce the rule, unless it was used as a side track for getting at an LP for some other infraction that they suspected but couldn't prove.

Hard to believe Phil will have much time for harness matters when he brings along this workload (at least) with him. You'll be lucky to get 3 days a week out of him and I'm sure it wont be on a part-time salary. Is Godber of the RIU deaf and dumb as well as stupid?
Yankiwi replied to Kopia's topic in Galloping Chat
I suspect WOF & Rego. It doesn't relate to a rule, it relates to a policy. https://www.grnz.co.nz/Files/Policy/D.7a Transportation-of-Greyhounds-Policy FINAL (1).docx.pdf As I read the GRNZ rules, I am unable to find where it gives the RIU the task or permission (or the Board for that matter) to enforce any GRNZ "policy". A rule has to be voted in where as a policy can be the stroke of a pen at headquarters... 5. SPECIFIC POWERS OF THE BOARD 5.1 The Board shall have the following Powers in relation to these Rules: (k) To exercise all other powers, duties and obligations contained in these Rules. Hmmmm, there's lots of policies with no power to enforce... -

The RIU are right on top of things. In fact, look where they were spending their resources just yesterday. First at the Cambridge dogs... JUDICIAL REPORT: 1) - Stewards conducted checks on vehicles used for the purpose of transporting greyhounds to and from the race meeting today with compliance orders issued to several trainers. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14028/stewards-report.aspx Then at the Christchurch dogs... JUDICIAL REPORT: 1). Stewards conducted checks on vehicles used for the purpose of transporting greyhounds to and from the race meeting today to ensure compliance with GRNZ's transportation policy is being undertaken. https://www.grnz.co.nz/catch-the-action/14029/stewards-report.aspx -
If someone has the video/pictures and would like to remain anonymous, they're welcome to pm or email me what they have & I will post it to this thread.

It's taken me about an hour to find "female nudity" on the internet, but I believe I can now fulfil your wish. However I'm not completely sure it's a female. It doesn't look very much like my wife or mother.

Then isn't that providing false information for financial gain? Has anyone contacted the Commerce Commission? They might be interested...

As I recall, when Phil was the CEO at GRNZ, each week he worked only on Mon, Tues, Wed and Fridays. For some strange reason he was nowhere to be found on a Thursday. Oh the beauty of a 4 days work week on a big salary...
