  1. Ridden more winners than Sweeney, not that means much. I prefer listening to her than Innes, each to their own.
  2. Correct on both fronts.
  3. I also thought the track played well, certainly better than the way tracks have been playing in all those abandonments.
  4. It's the little things !
  5. Can understand sprint distances but a 2100m race for a 2yo?
  6. and over 2100m in this case. The level of incompetence that comes out of NZTR is incredible!
  7. A race at Egmont on Friday. I thought 2yos were only allowed to max race 1600m ? How would one get a 2yo ready for such an event? Have I missed 2yo stating races? MDN 2YO&UP 2100m - $18,500
  8. Better utilization of existing facilities.
  9. I choose none , they should all keep going ,if the club folded the industry could utilize them. Why do you persist in wanting tracks closed?
  10. What were the costs to run these tracks? No one could ever give me an answer. The real reason was to sell them up ,absolutely cost the industry nothing or next to nothing to operate.
  11. Levin & I believe Stratford hold jumpouts, both those condemned by the establishment?
  12. Been saying it for years ,NZ industry in such a state every single track is needed. The Messara Report was/is a scam! Top it all off Peter's wants to sell up the clubs that aren't in the club. The industry will never learn.
  13. The issue here is , he is ill advised anf/or doesn't know what he is talking about. I believe a combination of both, which bodes very poorly for the future of the industry.
  14. Racing nepotism more than rife in NZ, of course ARC will win now they are racing again. They hardly have any comparison.
  15. I thought she did really well today , added some much needed colour & her enthusiasm appears to be genuine which is refreshing. Crowd was poor.
  16. Must be a big noter, as they are trying to find an out for them. All accidental of course.
  17. In the world of NZTR nothing is thought out.
  18. Absolutely laughable & just a way for the already well endowed to shuffle a bit more funds their way!
  19. This type of thing happening across the country unfortunately and will only get worse.
  20. Don't worry they have a back up plan that's been put into motion at the minute, that'll really please TAB and completely destroy the fabric of the industry!
  21. If it was that easy the fields would have 10-12 starters in them. I don't begrudge any owners picking up some loose change that keeps them going in the sport of kings, without these 5 or 6 horses Saturday afternoons would be a lot different.
  22. That's only the case because of industry nepotism and neglect, its never been a level playing field , you just have to look at Avondale. Those making the decisions will sell everything so long as they can keep going, racing is absolutely ruined in this country and will only be in a worse position once the theft of the land begins. No one cares about legacy. The new CEO is more of the same and probably as clueless as the last 4 or 5 we have had. A race day that stops the nation midweek in this country , speaks volumes for how his reign will be.
  23. New CEO said on the Guerin Report there has to be a focus on infrastructure , surely they are beginning to realise this? However I'm sure their idea of investment in infrastructure is to steal club assets!
  24. New CEO was on SENZ this afternoon and was hinting they would like to move Champions day to mid week day thats stops the nation. If that happens it will rival several other decisions for the dumbest move ever! Leave it on Saturday , it clearly worked.
