    Good to see some of the stable visits well patronised , @Chief Stipe would not have been happy however with many being in my age bracket in fact most looked that age group. Still wonderful to see iniatives being supported.

Racing does need me @Chief Stipe it needs my paintbrush and it needs you on a club committee , sharing your insurmountable knowledge coupled with your lack of experience and exit stage left attitude when things get tough.     More nonsense from you , that many inconsistent surfaces across the country and youre just cherry picking a provincial venue. Ellerslie nearly had the KM night canned long ago due to something worse than inconsistency - safety was a major issue.

    Fantastic for him , he throughly deserves it if he won it. 2 & 3yo racing in NZ is mostly dominated by expensive Aus breed stock , if it isn't why are they pay such huge sums of money for them? So they can win at Waipuk?

    They've already tried it over and over again in racing and they have proved they can't manage it or make it work. What do you think they have been doing throwing all their eggs in the Awapuni basket , dreaming of Hastings and mooting the greenfields/dreamfields in Waikato or Riccarton and Wingatui , then a country meeting makes them all look silly! Ellerslie is starting to work or so Guerin says , its a tad boring to watch the racing from there for some reason the old Ellerslie was better but maybe I'm just too old to enjoy it.
