I'm going to be very disappointed if you don't pick up a share or two @Chief Stipe , especially if you keep it secret.

I couldn't agree more, but they don't want you to see how it works underneath KM, Champions Day and a few other meetings. Their entire focus has clearly never been the entire industry , if it was they'd do things a lot more differently. Their focus is entirely on the mains days and the top end , the sales etc and this is why their involvement will not work , its merely a shot in the arm for a period of time with the same fan club singing their praises i.e. the big studs ($$) , the city clubs who benefit from all of this and a token amount of the chosen ones in the training ranks. The foundations have not changed or been improved upon and with the up coming asset theft they are going be much more shaky than ever before !

Still time for you to get involved @Chief Stipe , few more days of sales left , take your time and choose the right one for you. But for goodness sake stop being so tight and open your wallet and spend some of your well earned fortune in this great industry of ours!

Why does everyone complain about the programming , its only meant for the few they care about anyway. Those complaining , guess what they don't care you are only there to make up the numbers.

I'm sure they all do it for free or for the good of the industry. We've been told how good they are for the industry for years by those in charge and trackside , so we should trust them and believe that they are great for the industry! They are just having a tough run , but if they double up they'll recoup their losses back somewhere.

They'll be fine TB , maybe you didn't get to hear Winston tell everyone how the industry will be run in the not too distant future when making his opening address at Karaka today , everyone is to come along kicking and screaming in the same direction and if you don't they'll just steal your assets (for the betterment of the industry of course) , future is looking very bright indeed!

They only bought 30 odd yearling out of K1 last year , so they are doing it off the smell of an oily lead rope if you like and should be congratulated for their success off limited resources.

$320k for a Santono Aladin CS , maybe thats the KM winner for next year or could it be a sneaky cheap one that went for just $100k by Acrobat? Surely those sneaky buyers from HK haven't stolen the winner of the race picking up a nice Savabeel for just $625k! - what a steal that will be if they win the KM on KM night!

What do we think, we could see the colt of filly of the sale sell today? That horse that someone just had to have, best on ground , best of the 1000s that have been looked at over the past few months?
