  1. That looks suspiciously like Soy Sorbantson Kodso, tell moi I'm right? How much is Davo charging Opee for his time and of course the QC would be doing it for free with sooooo much Industry inchestousness going on...Shirley?
  2. I'm a HORSEMAN with over 20 years hands on experience.... I know and the RIU know what a LACERATION is ffs NO horses with fresh CUTS let alone LACERATIONS are allowed to start End of... Let it go
  3. Back at ya! NO Stipes are NOT entitled to expect anything! Thats why checks are done ffs... ..as soon as 'a call' went out to change saddles he should have been on the spot to sort it out before control was lost Basic
  4. Oh FFS! The report differentiated between "lacerations and cuts over the eye" A laceration is a jagged uneven slice through soft tissue...you think it wouldn't be bleeding?? Even if it wasn't....it can be read as being more substantial that a mere cut...which bleeds anyway Come in Pitty...did the horse require stitches or staples and was the cut through soft tissue or close to the facial bone unable to be stapled? FYI Horses CANNOT be raced with LACERATIONS End of.... Of course the RIU can override ANYONE's decision...especially if a Vet was too incompetent to pick up the bleeding Head wounds Which is AGAINST THE RULES ok?
  5. Haha this IS becoming tiresome! My entire point on this confusion is that the commotion that would have been obvious to EVERYONE in the mounting yard over this... ...should have caught the attention of the Stipe...OR he should have been summoned by connections to sort it out before both were unsaddled and re-weighed again...Shirley
  6. He told the Committee "my Jockey won't be giving evidence thanks" Imagine the rides she'd have got after that...if she did turn up to speak Zilch, nada, zero Yes she could have got summoned but would she have just winked or nodded through it?
  7. Mr Harris stated that Mr Bothamley could not swayed off the opinion that he was on the black horse, SERAPHIC, not the bay horse, WHIPPERSNAPPER. He said his insistence that he was not on the horse with the correct saddle and number on it confused everyone to the point that the horses were reweighed and resaddled with Mr Bothamley on the black horse as he insisted. He added that the right horses with the right saddles were presented initially but Mr Bothamley's insistence that he was riding the black horse led to a comedy of errors which led to further confusion and both horses being scratched at the start after being discovered that the riders, saddles and horses were incorrect.
  8. Yes I've had dealings with Davidson and agree he's very good... ...but again, checking the Track before racing is just part of the job description I'm afraid...there's often dogs on the Avondale track for example It surprises me there was no Stipe in the mounting yard in this instance...or they would have immediately sorted out Bottomley's confusion... ...and checked the brands in the ring...not at the start when it was too late
  9. Absolutely, I often post with a positivity bent...and numerous items of interest... By it's nature chat sites are more slanted to controversy though and rigorous informed debate...and I pride myself on fact based rigour btw... As I said Harris took the rap on this...when it was a Jockey losing his mind...see bottom "Nobody died" is an awful cop out though... And so is "favouritism not justified"...that's irrelevant The overarching disgrace is the RIU rubber stamping the Vets appalling lack of professionalism in allowing a bleeding, injured horse to start... They clearly agreed with it, merely reporting the "Vet passed it fit" Which is totally against the Rules Yes mistakes happen but once recognised should be immediately ameliorated...that's the RIU's job... 'Just do their Job' should be their byline
  10. I merely showed he has history when not wanting the truth to come out... Banned his Jockey from giving evidence then fake news for Opee Leopolds are an endangered species if they don't mutate and change their spots...direct from Confucious
  11. Opee and Davo had a 5 minute spot on 3 News last night and they looked totally shattered... ...mind you who wouldn't after "3 hours" in a stuffy room? Lets hope Davo didn't repeat any fake news to ameliorate the situation ""a very inexperienced apprentice" is J Fawcett apparently Some bloke from the Viaduct even said Opee had "one previous careless" when it's now 4...including one in Australia which the RIU incompetently failed to count Fake News is like a variant virus...
  12. It's just all so laissez faire and not enough fear isn't it? Harris was fined 4 Hundy after taking the rap but the Jockeys mounted the wrong horses after not bothering to check which number they were on... ...all participants should have been immediately breath and drug tested ...and the coup de grace for this debacle was the 'upholders of INTEGRITY' the hopeless RIU, thought simply passing an amateur Vet test was ok... ...even though the poor animal had lacerations and cuts over its eye... ...that's against the protocols while the Vet didn't even get a severe reprimand let alone a wrist slap... It was good to go according to the 'Vet'...and the RIU said "fine" ...if the non racing taxpayers, who fund this Industry, found out injured horses are 'good to go' without any reprecussions they'd be horrified Im not surprised Pitty doesn't want to come on here and comment because he doesn't want to rock the sinking integrity boat any further ...but he should really....and make that Official complaint to Bernard...who he knows well If stakeholders turn a blind eye nothing will ever improve
  13. Fair enouge I guess that's the consideration at Bush meetings... If one complains one might find ones tyres let down or slashed when returning to the float area... Im sure you're not suggesting it was ok to run an injured horse though?
  14. WTH are you talking about? Mick Guerin even investigated this whole case and came to the conclusion on WI that "somebody is lying" Clearly Ellis forbade Collett from giving evidence The Information indicated that the Protest had been instigated by Mr P Richards on behalf of the connections of BORDEAUX LE ROUGE. However, Mr Ellis the Principal of Te Akau Racing told the Committee that he did not wish to pursue the protest. Mr Ellis advised the Committee that he and Ms Collett, the rider of BORDEAUX LE ROUGE, had nothing to say in relation to the alleged incident.
  15. Good to see you here ... Can you tell me if you've made an official complaint about your horse being passed fit to race with "significant lacerations and cuts about the eye"
  16. Cheers for that...can you either post that pik here or PM me it please? The Vet can't get away with just ignoring significant lacerations on ANY horse let alone a Fav....especially when the RIU didn't even bother reprimanding him let alone remind him of the Rule
  17. Good on them but if the WORST violator of the Whip rule in NZ , Brett Murray, didn't strike that horse at least 8 times possibly 9 before the 100M then I'm whale oil beef hooked... That would've been his 6th time this season...did they just turn a blind eye because they felt sorry for him?
  18. The requirement is for any horse displaying ANY signs of blood to be late scratched... It simply isn't good enough for any horse let alone a Favourite to be running with "lacerations and small cuts around the eye" after beating itself up The Veterinary wasn't even reminded of their FAILURE to abide by the rules....ok? #integritynzstyle
  19. I'm not surprised you're CONFUSING Interference protests to Informations laid against Jockeys The intent of Rule 613 is clear.... NO LAY ADVOCATES allowed ....for very good reasons as Big Boy Pants showed... He plain lied about a Class A Jockey with over 1500 race day rides as being a "very inexperienced apprentice" ..after previously BANNING his other Jockey giving evidence at an Inquiry... These JCA hearings are meant to be conducted under the utmost INTEGRITY to find the best outcome under the Rules...ok? How can they allow Big Boy Pants to speak when he obviously isn't interested in upholding that absolute requirement?
  20. Rodley tweeting Opee's LOST his a peel.... Im sure dear Ems still fancys him though...
  21. Cheers for that reefer, hope this incident hasn't damaged her mentally... ...did she have stitches post race and was there blood streaming over her face as she came back to scale do you know? Callaway recently complained " I'm the most drug tested jockey in NZ" If Dick Francis included a cock up like this in a novel he'd have been laughed off... How can 'Jockeys' not recognise their saddles ffs?
  22. moi finds the buffering disappears when I get relly relly close to the wifi aerial...almost sitting on it...while in the buff Ulternatively I go to the NZTR site and watch it through their wee system...it lasts longer and so do I
  23. Mere semantics Ellis made a 'presentation' as to penalty...oh and commented on the overreaction of the "very inexperienced apprentice" contributing to Opee's carelessness... So he sought to 'represent' Opee by ameliorating the interference... By presenting FAKE NEWS Maybe his pants should include a note from Mommy to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing butt the truth in future? He presented so he therefore 'represented' Nothing could be clearer
  24. Ok hit the sack with your sis it is then....nothing wrong with that in Reefers Seriously serious though Reefer Do you know the Vet there...Shorten Is he just a wooly sheep Vet and has he ever been able to catch up with a Wild West Coast Brumbie to observe a munted horses head after a one sided fight with a steel gate? Or is it normal to have horses running through the woods with lacerations to the noggin after belting fledgling native totara forests?
  25. He made 'representations' on behalf of Opee to mitigate his sentence... aka 'representing' Boss
