  1. Fresh legs and fresh convictions........ You need to stop doing roadside pickups T...............filth you are
  2. Class always goes a loooooooooooooooooong way.
  3. I would be responding with an invitation to a civil court mediation settlement.
  4. You crack me up T. Seriously you do. You are to humour as to what Gayford is to nose implants. Messy. I can make a case for one today down South. An eight year old no less but only had 48 lifetime starts. Good track stats, good draw, great jock and a definite anchor to my place multi. Something smells good............oh no...........something's burning.
  5. When I spoke with him earlier this week, he described it as:
  6. This might be the omen tip of the day: Race 7 ETR
  7. The Tiley runner wins the last but Benny Sockholder has one in here that might run the quinella. Won a trial at Te Awamutu and was caught on a limb on the bike track at Waipa.
  8. All up place today: Sunshine Coast Race 2 Rock Dancer Lighty raced 3YO filly who will appreciate step up in distance. Good jock will assist overcoming wide barrier, but at this starting point, there is ample time to find a spot. Race 3 Elvison Paul Duncan trained Elvstroem 4YO gelding who is now at his ideal staying distance. Both preparatory runs have been good and knowing Paul, his fitness level should be getting close. Notable change of jock which also appeals. Race 5 Hey Doris Saw this filly back in 2016 as a 2YO when she went a couple of really good races, running second both times. In between they took her to Eagle Farm to a hot field where she was well beaten but this field is well down on that level. She suffered an injury and has had a long time to recover, but if she is anywhere near ready, will play a part here. Race 7 Tay Swift Lian Birchley trained - Blinkers on. Good luck
  9. FFS........you guys cause enough grief over there without me needing to become involved. You need to take a more mature, balanced and unemotional view on life like I do. Follow me, and there will be peace and tranquility on both platforms. For example, how hard is it to say "Good morning fellow forum followers on Channel Two. I trust you have awakened fresh and healthy, your eggs and bacon were as you requested and life is tickedded boo at your place. May you have plenty of winners today and tomorrow, may your luck fly high in the breeze and that your flatulence be forever flavoursome." Now how hard was that? And as it is July, I think it only appropriate that I send a mid year Xmas greeting as well.
  10. I know this topic has been mentioned a number of times before, but it is timely to regurgitate it again. I spent a few hours watching Trackside yesterday, and with the exception of George Simon, our presentation teams are seriously lacking in talent. Whereas, I am currently watching the lads at Wimbleton, and here we have both Tim Henmen and Boris Becker in the commentary team providing a truly high class coverage. They speak from experience. Even a part time tennis follower like me can appreciate the insights they provide. It's the same with cricket, rugby, golf and many other sports. Surely, there HAS TO BE somebody in this terrific little country of ours who can take a leading role in our racing coverage.
  11. The First Lady took a day off from exhausting parenting duties today. Didn't take long to revert to type.
  12. We're going off here at my joint
  13. Might I ask you say a quiet prayer for my last leg of my four leg MJW place all up on Kings Authority. The first three dividends of Wayanka at $3.90, Sharpness at $4 and Borella at $5.70 has provided a very nice investment in the last. Always easy to be wise after the event, but a fixed odds multi with any three and any two would have been wise........but who's wise when it comes to punting!
  14. Easy there me hearties ..... I'm still affected by yesterday's ration of rum. I don't give a flying flag of figs what race it's in, as long as I get paid when it places or wins.
  15. Caulfield Race 5 Wayanka The captain navigated a very wide course on this improving 4YO from the Waller fleet last start. He was able to grab a handful of sambos from the picnicking crowd on the corner, such was the course plotted, but he still had the audacity to sail on fastidiously to only be beaten by 3 tacks and a jibe. This trainer - jock combo has proven to be a very good one to follow and this looks like another potential winner. Anchors away ?
  16. Yes, it's always a cloudy area especially when you look at the T and C of individual auction sites. For example clauses 8 and 9 of the link below, are quite specific that the risk is all the purchasers http://www.allaboutauctions.co.nz/terms-and-conditions But......you and I both know that a company like NZB, MM and Inglis have nullified sales because they have an excellent reputation of looking after both vendor and purchaser.
  17. The company making the representations that the animal was "sound" will be needing to have a very detailed file of veterinary proof to get this over the line. Any person making a statement that is relied on when making a purchase, and the purchaser has proof that the claims were made (written or other that can be substantiated) is in a strong position to have the sale nullified.
  18. Repo Bay Been working well for some time but not delivering on Raceday, although to be fair, has not had a lot of luck. Plus, the 1600 and 1400 of the last two may have been a tad too far.
  19. Thank goodness you're back T......BUT remember to mind your back.......................side, OK
  20. Well done. Enjoyed it. Cocky little Pumper he was portrayed as.
  21. For many years I have been a fan of the Kiwi cartoon. Footrot Flats (Murray Ball) has always been a beauty but some of our newer generation are setting a high standard as well. Political cartoons which take the piss can be hit and miss, so the underlying point being made has to be subtle but ensure a smile on your dial. When I saw this one this afternoon by Emmerson online, I had a chuckle. Goober Goff is thinking about a shit tax to fix the sticking sewerage situation in Auckland. This cartoon may not be too far off the mark if that happens.
  22. I thought this was clever and summed up the original expectations:
  23. It appears someone in this household may have joined that growing list.
  24. My next question always seems to be.......... where did she hide the milk money this time?
