    pretty much nailed it there chief the club has programmed a race open to 2yo and older and the rule regarding 2yos is (2)No two-year-old shall compete in any race:- (a)the distance of which exceeds 2400 metres, before the first day of January; Was 2200 metres until about a year ago (b)the distance of which exceeds 2700 metres the trainer probably informed the club he has a couple ready to race, maybe not quite constar or the fiery ginga but race horses none the less
