  13. i am not 100% sure what you are getting at here chief usually the crown would present and then the defence and the judge would make his decision based on that i stand to be corrected but a judge can't drop charges but he can dismiss them what i posted was from the stuff article which doesn't support the brodsters version of events. https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/racing/114939089/operation-inca-racefixing-charge-against-canterbury-drivertrainer-dropped
  14. Christchurch District Court Judge Raoul Neave dismissed the charge and McGrath was able to walk away. He had no name suppression, but one aspect of the case remains suppressed. Prosecutor Karyn South told the court the Crown believed there was enough evidence but the "public interest test was not met".
  15. that is clearly not the case lol you just made that up
  16. despite the requests made by the Racecourse Inspector to the respondents to provide information emanating from criminal disclosure being deemed both lawful and reasonable by the JCA the RIU are faced with formidable opponents in the form of multiple QC's so i am not sure they meet the threshold for coping
  17. arrant nonsense dear old nana jones having used her 3 grand childrens ages in a boxed $1 trifecta that pays $1022.80 will have to identify herself to collect but will not be considered a money launderer by anyone with the smallest amount of commonsense.
