i have seen it and it is sad as are ALL addictions. by the nature of the word there are no good ones, all consuming is bad i was meaning that when i bet i am not thinking what will happen with the proceeds of clipping my ticket i have never bought a lotto ticket or played a poker machine or been inside a casino is pretty much only harness with the odd foray in gallops, dishlickers and sports so i suppose i gamble for purely selfish reasons and the only time i have considered who benefits is when i used to buy a meat raffle at the pub on a friday night
