So your calling me naive ,yet your the one who continually posts views that say there is very little crossing of the line. You seem to be contradicting yourself judging by that comment. I think i must be winning the argument,at least thats how i view it,so i will stop posting on this while i'm ahead..

In my opinion Classie brigade is a horse you only take in standing starts if drawn the front.thats my opinion.

I think your over thinking the stable driving. I had henry hubert clearly on top with the handicaps factored in. Driven accordingly. A g whitesocks has been disappointing for a long time, and didn't look much of a winning chance.
-
but Its not fair play if you drive to advantage any horse over your own, whether it be a stablemate or not. We all know it happens, but thats not fair to connections or punters. One of the reasons the success of the all stars was a major turn off for many punters was the team driving aspect of it. Drivers should drive every horse on its merits.

I see they have adjourned there inquiry into the d ferguson drive in race 1 last night.Punters confidence in investing was reduced by races like that.

We had both better duck then. You don't seem to like this fella woodham much.Thats a plus for him in my book.

I will say it one last time. You have been arguing that testing now days can pick nearly everything. I gave you an example of current cases where its alleged there was the manufacturing, distributing and use of blocking agents, masking agents, epo agents, etc. And that testing was not picking up its use. Further, its alleged these products had been distributed to many countries, including australia. The investigation was carried out by the FBI who worked in conjunction with a private investigator, who had been funded by the likes of jeff gural(meadowlands) The announcement of the uncovering of the widespread use of performance enhancers created divisions within racing authorities, with many saying racing was clean, while the couple of groups who had helped fund part of the investigation saying that the indictments issued were proof of what they knew to be true, and that the bury your head in the sand attitude of many within the racing industry just enabled those who were dishonest. Thats all been widely reported if you don't believe it.

I've also been thinking about the "hoping to catch all the boys at the beach" comment newmarket. To observe multiple stables you would need a large workforce. That doesn't seem plausible that they would undertake such a large scale operation. That rumour seems a bit over the top,but hey,who knows.

So your saying he broke the rules to give his horse something that he thought was not performance enhancing. Sounds like you think he is thick as well as silly.

Because its news. Don't shoot the messenger.

There may not have many on course, but as pointed out by the trackside presenter, wasn't it great to see the reactions of the winning connections of Dun it bad, which were caught on trackside. Feelings like they had is why people race horses. well done to them.

So what mr cook was saying was the field was asked to turn out of line and then was dispatched at the 2nd attempt. He says because of that the colin defilippi horse got worked up, and 200m after the start broke and ran in on his horse, causing it to fall. Its quite a long bow to draw that connection. But obviously he must feel it was lambs fault for defillipi"s horse galloping 200m after the start.

To be fair, afterburner stopped to a walk. Just watched dylan ferguson drive in race 1 at cambridge. Very strange, seemed to be steered into a pocket.I remember an amatuer getting 3 months for not taking the big gap on the fence. Good drive by nicky chilcott, completely outdriving D ferguson.

Mostly just from what i see on the track. from observation. Logic. I don't view the b purdon or the t herlihy stable similar in that respect. I am sure they use vets who advise them on the latest legal tonics,or whatever. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe there is a link, but its not consistently obvious to me..
-
Actually i agree with nearly all of what you have just said, except in my opinion the all stars would be the most obvious stable likely to have used performance enhancers that may currently be legal or not tested for. Also,i think there is a link between someone who would supply people mood or performance enhancers to people, and the same thing going on to horses. You have previously replied no when i asked you that question,so each to there own opinion. Time will tell.

So thats a No to doing any reading as relates to the over 2 dozen vets, trainers and performance enhancer distributors who have been charged in New york. Some of those charged claiming in recordings "they don't have a test for it,theres no test for it in america". From your comments do you not believe that, or is nz testing more sophisticated than anywhere in America. One of those caught ,a jason servis is trained the 2020 kentucky derby winner (disqualified for blocking), and the saudi cup winner. Its alleged every one of his 1082 starters since 2018 raced on performance enhancers.
