I think it was Richie that initially said the race was televised on both Trackside 1 and also Trackside 2. I have gone back through the video archive because I simply can't sleep with this uncertainty. It proves Richie is on the money, and Brodie correctly recalled the orange colours on Trackside 2. Well done lads.

Wow he has got some gears that is for sure. Carted a flat tyre for most of the trip tonight. And the opposition were handy types, not mugs. Possibly one of the most exciting horses (trotter, pacer or galloper) in the country right now? Excluding the mighty Spitfire.

Haha good on ya Happy. I don't know what it is about Thursday meetings, but I have never ever got use to them being on a Thursday and I ALWAYS forget they are even on. By the sounds of it my thigh is thankful, but my wallet isn't! God that sounds dodgy. Just going to exit the room quietly now...

Dead right mate. Here is my observations from last night. I was shocked and horrified! The $5 chicken burgers from the Stables BBQ area are no longer. They are gone burger. Now we have fancy schmancy burgers damn near twice the price. I was outraged. Told them to stick it, and went away in a huff. If it wasn't for Muscle Mountain winning his race, I would have gone hungry until I got home. With the winnings I splashed out on the bacon and egg burger. It was pretty good to be fair. So let that be a lesson to everyone. Don't get upset over the small stuff, about scratchings and starters etc. Those things will never change, and us punters in the grandstand can't change anything about it. Instead listen to your gut. It will tell you when it's hungry and it will tell you what horse to bet on.

I think you are correct. The "problem punters" referred to, are the ones that don't lose often enough! So the TAB restricts them.

Be a bit short at 151's. I just want to see this horse get up and maybe run a place one day.

I am confident the Spitfire could almost break the magical 2.00min mark, on a good day, with no rain, no temperature over 28, no wind, an inside barrier and perhaps a galloping pacemaker, oh and no retention barn restrictions.

Everyone makes mistakes. I make plenty, that is for sure. But I would always try not to make one under the Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015, that is for sure.

Up until today, I had hoped Forbury stays. Now I hope Forbury goes away.

Seeing it is election year, I will do what some politicians do and answer the question, with some questions... Am I allowed to say to Jimbo's pet food factory? Thanks Mikey. Well done Dougie, always said you know your horses mate! Bloody grass tracks. I've said for years, they should close all of them down, they are bloody useless. Just like my picks on the grass haha nah, the grass tracks have their place. And as for Brodie... he let me down today almost as much as the mighty Spitfire. (I still love them both however).

It does mate. Happy and Dougie have tipped out a few on here in the past, and I have seriously ended up with a bruised thigh, trying to get them home. Every little bit of "encouragement" helps the horse.

I honestly think they (NZ TAB) are trying to take advantage of the drunk, or "under the influence of alcohol" punters late on a Saturday night, amongst others. We have all seen them at local pub-TABs with a self service machine. Feeding notes into it and then wildly hitting the screen getting their bets on horses/sport events, well after a few too many lemonades onboard. They are not exactly going to take a step back and think hmmm what odds exactly am I taking here. The market betting percentage started off at 137% upon opening. Which is bad, but kind of normal. The criminal part comes in when 6 horses are moved in and none moved out, creating a 158% market. That's enough ranting from me. I'm off to see if Brodie has given me some help by offering his picks for today so I can enter the comp!
