  1. Looked at the Australian Open Futures markets and couldn't find when the market closed. Looks like they have taken that information away too?
  2. I placed a bet a couple of months back when the odds were around the wrong way. I quickly went to the TAB to make a withdrawal. I guess that won't be happening from now on!
  3. I didn't really say anything too positive about Neds. They are rubbish, but they did "attempt" to make it up to their new customers. I guess every bookmaker has their faults, it's just a pity the TAB are 10 years behind the competition - and I think for years they thought they had no competition because of their monopoly, but punters are smarter than that.
  4. You can't tell me you never noticed the latest results down the bottom? I agree with the live stream, much better quality and it loads instantly. My problem is that the TAB barely kept their budget site in order so how are they going to deal with the more complex issues this site will generate? People are already having problems placing bets, logging in, depositing etc etc. These should have been ironed out well in advance. The release of Neds.com.au was a complete shambles, mostly because they did it at the busiest time of the year, but they responded by giving out free bets. This launch wasn't nearly as bad, but if they want to be on par with the offshore bookmakers, they better start offering a sign-up bonus of at least $100. Another gripe of the TAB is that they won't become gambling affiliates. Many TAB workers didn't even know what a gambling affiliate was, which was shocking. Allowing websites to promote the TAB for a percentage of their customers deposits is the reason why offshore bookmakers are making a killing and the TAB.... well.... are not. I would love nothing more than to advertise the TAB on my sites and keep the product locally, but that simply won't happen with the lack of brain power in charge.
  5. Agreed. Not having the latest results down the bottom of the page is an extra two clicks I now have to make. A good website is all about limiting clicks.
  6. I'm guessing you have tried a hard refresh? CTRL F5?
  7. A lot of form-related things are missing. Hoping they'll amend those issues.
  8. TAB had fixed odds for the opening race.
  9. I'm going to leave it for a day and I better be able to find info on Wednesday's races when I do.
  10. Not exactly in a hurry to load...
  11. Would today's racing clubs miss out on potential revenue because of this delay?
  12. Exactly. Nothing game changing about it. They're years behind the competition and this will put them on the same path, but the product/odds/technology will still be behind their offshore competitors. Everything they're about to offer has been in place offshore for years.
  13. Can't remember which race it was on Saturday, but the TAB were offering $1.85 FO place for a runner at Ruakaka --- meanwhile, I was able to get $2.65 at BetEasy. Easy decision where to go.
  14. Might I add - that posts can't be edited in any way.
  15. No law of course, just haven't seen it. Maybe I'm not looking closely enough.
  16. Did he just ride in the second race at Taupo without goggles?
  17. Horrible outcome. Makes you wonder how often jockeys, especially the successful/wealthy ones, think about giving the game up while they're still healthy.
  18. Didn't bag the horse, but there's a diff between an average G1 here and a biggie in Sydney. A wet track would see it run three lengths behind them. Feel free to get carried away, but I'm a seeing then believing kinda guy.
  19. Could have a crack but would likely finish 5-6 lengths behind the best in Aussie.
  20. Can't bet at Awapuni today. Tiny fields. Ellerslie has a fair amount of scratchings, which is unfortunate for one of the better betting days of the year.
  21. I had the misfortune of being dragged to HQ a couple of months back. I wasn't single at the time, but if I was.... oh boy! I had my pick of about 10-12 cougars, including KFE. I wouldn't recommend the joint if you're looking for a) good food, b) good staff, c) atmosphere. And yes, I would imagine the thief Innes thread got taken down either for posting about a jockeys' bet or disclosing information about anything related to the TAB. BUT, it's no ones business according to the man who posted the information on a public website.
  22. Leo is harping on about that TAB party being no ones business, yet he started the thread. Hollywood hypocrite.
  23. P2P posts here?
  24. The same would apply with humans. How many champion athletes have spawned champion athletes? You can't emulate a champion by simply being related.
  25. Freudian slip
