One horse that got claimed very often around then was Moment of Truth. Was trained by Rob Lawson, then went onto a few trainers as he kept getting claimed

Completely agree some of the claiming prices were ridiculous! Noone was willing to pay 10k for a horse that is racing around in claiming races

Will they do it this year? Or will they just can the idea as for the 2 and 3yo in both Pacers and trotters still had a lot to decide. If they do go ahead who would people be picking as winners?

Some you couldn't even give away from lots I watched on fb live. Good to see high priced lots go around to different people, plus some "younger" buyers getting a go

The only difference here is that the parked horse kept going to run a place and held its normal racing line, whereas Star Commander veered out giving the Sheriff a better racing line. Personally I cant see anything wrong with this race in particular.

Bit harsh on Oscar. Worked to sit park and nothing in the running line ran past him. Was 1 2 3 the pegs to run the tri. He should've gone a bit better but he is still a 4yo. MM was such a poor drive, but didnt finish off like he should've done some as Temporale

Launched 3 wide from the winning post, 3rd 1/4 in 27.5 and he must have gone 27 for it and battled his way up the straight. Be interesting to see how he goes next week in the GSS as Temporale followed him and never looked like loosing at the 300m

MM and Winterfell went well, MM is still like Philly Mac... however Oscar's last mile and 800m were the quickest of the race... still the group 1s and group 2s in trotting are far superior and better than the pacers

I think the way he means is that any breeder that yearling gets sold to a big buyer/stable dont care that they are there. Provided they go well obviously, in turn making their own breed that little bit more valuable
