  1. Cant tell if this is a tip or a lay???
  2. Yes fantastic run by your fella, he just manages to find 1 better in the group races. Oscar win was as easy as you like
  3. Marcoola wont cross Oscar, and Oscar will run 1.54 untouched
  4. Adore Me produce Sweet on Me won every race last year as a 2yo F. Now off to the broodmare paddock.
  5. Oh my word!!!!! There was a $1 40 shot win at Winton, an outrage.... why was it allowed to be in the race!
  6. Sheree does drive him better than Clint does in open class races. Clint had an affinity with him in his 3yo season and 4yo season. But glad to see Sheree get her chance, let's not knock her she has won a dominion before
  7. Anything can happen in racing, Purdon has already had one mishap in the Dominion with Oscar Bonavena. You just never know what can happen in a ID final
  8. You'd be wanting those 3 Ruddys back
  9. That's a bit rough with lotofmuscle winning the hambletonion and the NZ derby last season. Plus Gil Favor running 4th or so in both of them. His team may not be as strong as seasons ago, but they certainly still have that polish
  10. I see Marky P got questioned again on tactics on Cruz Bromac last night. I dont see why they would ask, when in so many races a horse hands up then goes and retakes the lead. They looking for nothing the stewards. Also I'm surprised nothing was said about Bling It Ons performance, thought he should have boxed on way better than he did
  11. That breed gets better with age. Has some very handy half brothers
  12. Oscar Bonavena galloped for lack of ring craft when taking evasive action, didnt know what to do. Was a weird dominion with so many gallopers. But well done to Habibi Inta had a dream run with the postman winning both major group 1s
  13. There is 2 in race 2 that I like for a place that is Sugar Cane and Jerry Garcia. Both paying 4's and more
  14. I completely agree. For a change there is some value to be found re All Star horses. Just have to find which ones. And who is driving them. If going by history of the last 5 years All stars have had raging hot favourites and that's not the case. I saw on the Purdon website he reckons that 4 wins on the day will be good for them.
  15. Race 2 - Dream of Glory. Purdon horse paying 9s on cup day... unreal. Race 9 Ascalabus. Handy enough efforts after leaving maidens. Has a chance at 31s and 6.50 Race 12 Dan Fernando. Drawn to have a sweet trip behind Taxman. 2.50 a place seems good money for a horse going to do no work
  16. Missie Castleton in race 7 a good e/w chance
  17. I know it is irrelevant but what time will they run? I'm going to guess around 3.55.5, as I believe the aussie will put pressure into it. The dominion I reckon will be around 3.58.9 and it will be either stallion
  18. Zigzagzoo today and blink n bones tomorrow
  19. The Dominion is going to be one hell of a race this year given what Marcoola did in the flying mile and Oscar did off the 40m. Both horses are in the zone
  20. On a video posted to the hrnz Facebook site of Matty talking about his drives today. He said that it isn't a bad draw but the horse had trotted poorly at its last chance and only deemed it a place chance. Saying Matty who finished 3rd in overall wins last season is an average driver when in behind is a bit of ridiculous thing to say.
  21. Can you see into the future????
  22. Plutonium to place in the juniors into Rydgemont Son in r9
  23. $1.10 would be great money for a trotter who ran his last half in 55.5 untouched. He is destined for greatness. But still that hannon field is the best in years! Maybe from when Franco Ledger bet Franco Emirate
  24. I see Robert is having his 10,000th starter today. What a milestone to achieve
  25. I think Matty Williamson will have a good day at the office. Has a good book of drives
