  1. Correct Weasel. At this point in time she would rate the higher for Horse Of The Year title. 5 G1 wins in NZ compared to 2 G1 wins in Queensland. He would need to win the Stradbroke to have any chance of beating her.
  2. Wrong religion HS. Nothing in the Bible about not doing a photo shoot. ?
  3. I probably could have worded my first sentence better Reefton having re-read it. I wasn't getting at you but rather trying making a point to Thomass re the quote and this is where this so called hate speech comes into it. What may be offensive to one person is not offensive another person. One should be free to express opinions or have a contrary view to another person and not be constrained to the current perceived set of ideas and views. Without thought outside the controlled social vacuum and without the premise of challenging ideas and thoughts mankind would never have progressed. Shutting down dissenting thought or speech is completely totalitarian which is abhorrent but it appears that this is what some people and governments want. Perhaps George Orwell's book 1984 should be entitled 2024 and reclassified as non-fiction. ?
  4. Reefton you are as bad a the Australian Rugby Union and that idiot CEO of Qantas (Queers And Nymphomanics Training As Stewards). The Folau issue is all about free speech as are Thomass's posts here. There is a famous quote and it is the basis for what is going on both in Australia and indeed even in this country as people's views and expressions are being shut down on the basis of someone may be offended. "I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it."
  5. You do realise that there wasn't a social media clause in Folau's contract. Castles tried to add one into the contract in November but it wasn't agreed to. Anyway, we will learn of the decision later today and if they do want to rip up his contract it will then end up in Supreme Court.
  6. It is still hypocrisy under any other guise Thomass whatever way you want look at it. Would it have been an issue if it had been a CEO who wasn't gay? To persecute a poor individual Christian boy is rather all too easy rather than call out a country/ies that persecutes all gays by throwing them off buildings or a public stoning to death and dealing with them as if it doesn't happen. If Folau so incenses him one would think that he would do the right thing and resign as CEO of Quantas rather than operate with Emirates. So yes, the hypocrisy abounds.
  7. Come on Thomass. Folau had a number of different types of sinners listed, no doubt thee and me would be included. Funnily enough I didn't take any offence and the so called outrage has come from one group solely. Any coincidence that the main sponsor's CEO is gay and has called for Folau's sacking threatening to pull sponsorship yet that same CEO condones being in partnership with Emirates. The utter blatant hypocrisy is plain for all to see. As to Matty C if he gives Trud's another burst he could well be tempting fate. She doesn't take many prisoners. ?
  8. Incorrect. He didn't use his employment position to condemn. He used his personal facebook page. He also quoted from the Bible, and he didn't condemn anyone, he was in fact trying to save them if you read what he posted. Where is the hate coming from? The actual hate is being directed at Folau himself for quoting the Bible and his religious belief. You want Folau to disappear into oblivion so it also follows that you would also like the Bible to be banned. If he is expelled from rugby it would show Rugby Australia up as a complete hypocrite as the following seems to be perfectly acceptable behavior from professional sports people. "He didn't kick his heavily pregnant wife's stomach while she cowered on the floor in the foetal position, nor did he pick up his ex-girlfriend and hurl her into a garage door in the early hours after an epic bender and he didn't kick the shit out of an unconscious person lying in the gutter outside a nightclub. He hasn't intentionally smashed an opponent's jaw to smithereens in a pre-meditated on-field incident nor gouged an opponent's eyes and never though to stick his index finger up an opponent's bum as a defence strategy. Folau hasn't been caught on an I-phone, pants around his ankles and frolicking in the company of an unsuspecting mutt nor orchestrated the running of an illegal dog-fighting ring, given electric shocks to horses and anything else to anger the RSPCA. never once has he been accused of unlawfully distributing intimate videos without the consent of those filmed or of mistreating women in any other way. He has never been caught drink-driving nor been charged with any crime. He hasn't racially abused opponents, called them monkeys etc or called them gypsy boys. He hasn't manhandled referees, assaulted teammates and bashed them to a pulp, stolen money from his fellow player's wallets while they weren't looking nor being caught on video bragging about his love of the Bondi marching powder and never once tested positive for using banned substances either in or out of competition. He hasn't placed bets on other teams to win or lose, been caught in the throes of orchestrated sports cheating or scheming to rig the system. He hasn't chewed on blood capsules at a crucial point of a game to stop time. And he has never ever been accused of standing over young and impressionable teammates compelling them to cheat, go to church or do anything else with the threat of being expelled from the team if they refuse. My goodness what a bad bad person Folau must be if his contract is torn up and he is expelled. ?
  9. You will like this one Thomass……….. An inquiry has been opened by Racing Queensland stewards to determine how a winner at Toowoomba carried the wrong saddlecloth number on Saturday night. Punters were left a little confused as Royal Warfare crossed the line first in race six but was incorrectly wearing saddlecloth No.5, when it should have been No. 4, which was worn by Unimagineable. The mishap led to the wrong numbers being semaphored on-course and then also by broadcaster Sky Racing. The issue was noticed by the chief steward overseeing the meeting and correct numbers were adjusted prior to correct weight. The stewards report released on Sunday details the event as follows; “Immediately following this race, and prior to the declaration of correct weight, the Chief Steward raised a concern with the numbers, which had been semaphored on Sky Channel and then subsequently on the semaphore board. “In particular, the Chief Steward was of the view that ROYAL WARFARE was the winner of the event, and not UNIMAGINEABLE as semaphored. Upon return to the enclosure, the Chief Steward directed that the first horse past the post be kept under Stewards’ supervision to be re-identified. “Upon reinspection it was confirmed that ROYAL WARFARE was the winner of the race. During this process UNIMAGINEABLE was also re-identified. “Upon investigation it was established that ROYAL WARFARE and UNIMAGINEABLE were presented and subsequently raced in the incorrect saddlecloths. “When weighing in, both App. M. Savva (ROYAL WARFARE) and M. Palmer (UNIMAGINEABLE) were correctly weighed in at their allotted weights. “An examination of the Stewards patrol footage also confirmed that both horses started from their correct barriers. “Subsequently, as Stewards were satisfied that ROYAL WARFARE was the winner of the race despite carrying the incorrect saddlecloth, correct weight was declared as follows: 1st ROYAL WARFARE (No. 4), 2nd GREY SKIES (No. 2), 3rd MT PILATUS (No. 1) and SEVENTY BELOW (No. 9). “An inquiry into this matter was adjourned to allow Stewards to give consideration to the totality of the evidence provided by App. M. Savva and Trainer M. Boland (the connections of ROYAL WARFARE) and jockey M. Palmer and Trainer B. Robinson (the connections of UNIMAGINEABLE) in addition to Steward, Mr. L. Carvosso.”
  10. All I can say is the rule in the USA is archaic. Thank goodness the rules in Australasia have been changed for the better. It must be shown that the affected horse would have beaten the offender. Under the USA rules a winner can get disqualified even if it won by ten lengths under a hold if it had knocked down a runner at the 500m which then ran fifteen lengths last.
  11. Correct me if I am wrong but the horse Tightlign won his last start. I am sure they said on Trackside (before or after the race) that the stipes were informed that the horse would be ridden from the back but after they jumped the horse went forward and led all the way. I didn't mind as I had backed him anyway and was quite happy to see him in front.
  12. What are you doing now that The Informant is no longer?
  13. Great to have Thomass back!! What was wrong with Trentham today Turny? Winners weren't hard to find even on the heavy track.
  14. Might be very quickly if the betting platform is going to be outsourced as alluded to in the Messara report.
  15. I did indeed and in the following six pages of comment I haven't seen anything to change one word of the original post. In fact they only reinforce my first stated opinion. ?
  16. One post pointing out that you had no posts in 48 hours on your Thoroughbred Forum which is a fact. How you read into that by twisting it to become someone trying to shut down your site one cannot fathom. I couldn't care less whether it keeps going or not. It certainly won't affect me. I read into your response that you are obviously a wee bit sensitive and precious over your baby which, after all, was set up in opposition to BOAY because a couple of you couldn't get your way here. However, you can't seem to make it a clean break as you and your mate continue to post here and PM people in what is a clear and transparent undermining of this site. I believe the irony entirely rests with you. ?
  17. Totalitarian is the word that I believe you are looking for Chief. ☺️
  18. If you need to know ?I was interrupted by a phone call. Is that ok with you?
  19. Well they are certainly not flowing to your site. Other than a post on a sticky thread re selections for UK racing, not one post in the last forty eight hours on the Thoroughbred forum. ?
  20. What's holding them up? I thought they had gone. Oops. One has come back whilst I was typing this. ? Doo doo doo do doo doo doo do. It's spooky possums. ☺️
  21. Come on Thomass. It's now past Easter where is the resurrection? What have you spotted worth mentioning? What about the ride on the third horse in R4 at Rotorua?
  22. One obviously doesn't get much for $42 - 50 million these days. ? Excuses just don't cut the mustard here. Mind you the silence is deafening coming from the Racing Board. Where are you John?
  23. And that's the point, most of theses 2yos had never raced past 1200m and asked to step straight up to 1600m for the first time. Hence you weren't going to get a solid tempo and it ended up a sprint home.
  24. Verry Elleegant brains them!!! ?
